Shivaay warned the three of them of what he was going to do. He warned OmRu first, more directly because he was going to use their shares to play this high stakes game. Or rather he was forced to use their shares by Svetlana.
The Game?
Its to separate the Oberois and ruin them.
Using their wealth, and loss of trust.
He must have not told OmRu exactly what he was going to do, because Rudra got pretty upset and angry first before coming around and deciding Bhaiyya knows what he's doing.
It was a show of trust despite being hurt, for Rudra. Tej was ranting something fierce, talking disloyalty and selfishness, something his big brother is incapable of. So his teary hug was something of a show of trust, that he'd be by Shivaay's side no matter what.
It was so heart warming to see, one by one, each family member rallying up for him. Dadi, Shakti and even Pinky, speaking up that Shivaay is incapable of treason, all giving him benefit of doubt. (Svetlana was watching also, he had to be silent)
Oberois at this point were really: One for All, All for One.
Shivaay kept giving searching glances at Annika, who stood uncharacteristically silent in the sidelines. He had warned her in the most oblique of ways, and was counting on her support, her promise of "No matter What, I'm always by your side"..
But he was hurting their family ! Everyone was hurt and angry, and she also vowed to take care of them as fiercely as he does.
How can you not tell your left hand what your right is doing? They work synergistically. They are wired that way. A team. Yes, one hand can work alone but it's almost always easier to have the teammate on board, at least for fallout support.

Did he know Svetlana would definitely be watching? Did he not want her to target Annika in her next step of scheming? She already got 50% of their wealth, you bet your last dollar she's gunning for the other 50% too. She won't stop till figuratively the Oberois are distraught, penniless and in the streets.
Question: why didn't Svetlana just ask for all the shares? If she took Shivaay's 50% that he offered, it would have had the same effect. Obviously she wanted to ruin their trust and family bond too. What kind of diabolical evil is this? Svetlana better have a believable back story for this kind of evil.
Shivaay privately calls for an investigation into the Kalyani Mills fire, I hope this time Abhay and his story returns, I'm not hyped up for Svet and evil Tia's Bahu wars. I'd really like to know if Tej actually set the factory on fire, because that video looked so fake. We only saw him hold the match before. Full footage or doctored? Wait and see.
But Tej does suddenly feel shady. If he demands Shivaay's 50% to show his loyalty to the family and OmRu, SSO would do it in a minute. He was prepared to give it to Svetlana already.
If Shivaay is manipulated by Jhanvi's promise (upcoming) and then clubbed on the head by Tej's betrayal (my strong suspicion) it would be devastation and anger that forces Shivaay to walk out of the Oberoi House. Explains why Annika was looking like her heart was breaking into 1000 pieces for him, in that promo.
Was wondering why he even bothered to go and see Annika after yelling at her like that with an audience yet again.

Roughing her up and getting her riled into battle mode like old days is just recipe for trouble. "If you're the Old SSO, I too will become the Old Annika..sirf Annika"
