Annika twirled around in front of the mirror, a wide smile on her glowing face. She was wearing a long, midnight-blue gown that her baggad billa had sent, and had to admit- it made her feel really pretty. Threading her long, curly hair in between her fingers, she waited for him to show up. It was her 24th birthday, and he was taking her out for dinner, only he and God knew where. There was still half an hour till 7, and she had gotten ready extra early in anticipation. Sighing, she decided to check her phone while waiting. After starting to date the heartthrob of the country, she had become something of an Instagram favorite, and so birthday wishes had been flooding in since morning. Opening her profile, she smiled seeing the pictures her two beloved future-devars had posted.

The conversation had gone on and on, with Shivaay finally stopping his replies when he was outdone by his brother and girlfriend. Smiling and shaking her head, Annika opened the picture Om had posted. This one, by far, was her favorite post.

Annika had to stop reading when she was interrupted by a knock on the door. Jumping up from the bed, she rushed to open the door, and came face-to-face with a certain blue-eyed man, looking all handsome wearing a black suit with a midnight blue shirt, matching her dress. His very sight made her breathless.
"Happy Birthday, love." He said while entering. Handing her a bouquet of red roses, he placed a peck on her cheek.
"Did you have a good day?" He asked her, all the while admiring how beautiful she looked.
Annika nodded eagerly.
"Yes, I had a fantastic day! Om and Rudra took me to the water park, and then we went to meet Sahil at his boarding school. It was amazing!"
Shivaay smiled seeing excitement, and pulled her closer by the waist.
"Sorry I couldn't come, but the meeting couldn't be postponed."
"No worries," Annika said while smoothing out his shirt, "It was more fun without you," She added while biting her lip to hide a grin.
Shivaay frowned.
"Oh, so firstly you give khidkitod comments to my brothers' posts while barely replying to mine, and then you have more fun with them without me?!"
Annika laughed seeing his adorable pout. Pecking his lips, she started moving towards the door, not before calling out-
"That's because their posts were better, love!"
Shivaay sighed deeply, before following her. Instagram really wasn't his thing, but the man still tried for his girlfriend!
