An Ode To Shivika

We all saw that Shivika video and Laal Ishq. Hell, we even got it trending in Twitter. It was so amazing. We made other fandoms and CVs see it, that's how powerful it is. That alone is a feat.

I think Shivika's comfort level is probably the best thing about the SR. Annika looks into it and Shivaay is clearly in a mood. Its not just what they are doing during the SR, it's how much it means. How much it means that Annika is taking a step forward, unbuttoning his shirt, and caressing his bare skin. How Shivaay isn't rejecting it, how he watches mesmerized by Annika, and starts to reciprocate that passion. How they move close to each other with each movement. They're simply enjoying- ravishing each other's touch before they kiss. It captured Shivika's passion, something that has existed within their Jodi for so long, which was held off by a floodgate. Only to be released so concentrated that it was all too effective in destroying the Shivika Fandom's peace of mind for several days. (P.S. I have not recovered.)

They are so takkar, even in intimacy. They respond with a unique grace that is so powerful. It's so equal. Like a true takkar. If Annika is yearning for more, so is Shivaay. When we see Annika going breathless, Shivaay is equally so. The need to be together has become a feeling they both share now.

It's not just Laal Ishq, it's about what the song means. How red is placed into the sequence. It's about how many different forms red has taken as a symbol and what that quantified to this union and their journey. From anger, aggression, determination, passion and the most universal symbol of red - love. They are surrounded by red light too. It's just love. Love, in the most pure shade of red, being made.

And it's even better that the intimacy doesn't die after the first night. It continues into a different scene, this time in the room. It's good that they don't want to stop, because they're allowed to feel that way. It must be bliss for them to finally come together after all the pain, torture and attempts that we see them go through. How they yearn to become one. Become timeless in their love.

Shivika share such a pure form of love because they've been battered and beaten before they came here. From raw hatred to pure love, from forced marriage to forced separation. From finally coming together and getting married the right way. That journey only adds to it and makes it more special, because this Union of Soulmates happens despite all of that. True love prevailed against all odds.

I hope that time allows this magic to stay with them for a long while. It's the kind of bliss they need to feel after such a long and painful journey. They deserve a happy ending. They deserve to be together. These are two people, who can no longer live without each other. That breathing in the world becomes immensely difficult without their other half. That a single scratch is felt by their soulmate as though it were their own wound.

Laal Ishq is not just a Suhaag Raat or First Night for a couple, it's simply the Ode to ShivIka. And that's pure fact.

That scene only added to the beauty of Shivika. Having a social message dropped between something we wanted to see was the right slap in the face. It was so perfect how Shivaay wanted to win Annika's heart and didn't just want s physical relationship with her because he loves her. I think Shivaay came to this through the forced marriage and that he can not force his love onto Annika if he wants to be loved in return. It felt like that speech was really being made from lessons learnt. I hope Shivika stay this way, it's simply blissful.

Thank you so much, Thwisha! Honestly that means a lot. From when I first saw Laal Ishq, I immediately thought it wasn't vulgar. It was so powerful, that Shivaay and Annika were both enjoy themselves. That they were so okay. They are do drawn to each other that it's absolutely blazing. It's actually fire. The entire sequence is so well done at capturing it all, especially the passion. It felt like we got a happily ever after, even if it were just a short while before problems arise again.

I must say LM creates a master piece with his direction. The same goes with laal ishq.the writing,cinematography, Colors, lighting,the chemistry between the actors, n overall execution of the sequence is commendable. A bid round of applause to the cast n crew for creating such an awesome master piece. It looks like a poem with a flow, without any vulgarity.its eastheically done.👏

Coming to the Shivika part,u have rightly said it. Shivika journey esp SSO's is the most beautiful one. each n every step or progress in their relation is beautifully shown throughout 400+ episodes. They have gone through lots of ups n downs in their relationship.but still a thread called love n trust in their relationship held them together even in the most difficult times.The red color symbolises energy,war, danger, strength, determination, passion, as well as love in literature.andthis meaning literally holds true when it comes to Shivika's relationship.Each and every emotion which the red color symbolises are shown perfectly in their individual characters as well as the in the relationship they formed over time.

SSO is over all his nkk principles a long back but he patiently waited for Annika to overcome her insecurities. And today,she has totally overcome her insecurities and she wants to be with him forever.

Laal ishq shows this side of Annika and both Shivika wants to take their relation to next level.

I think we can agree that Laal Ishq was more beautiful. The visualization is better than the words I convey. You're right though! We thought Lalit Mohan sent the fandom ablaze with his picture of Shivika, but then out of nowhere Gul Khan posted a video and khatamed us before we even realized what happened.

Shivika's journey might have been a slow burn but it was deep burn. Anyone can say I love you and talk about how much they love someone, but you only get a glance at the depth in someone's love when you see the pain in their eyes that aches for the one they love. Like when Shivaay sees Annika breaking, he starts to shatter. Such a thing is simply miraculous.

These are not just two souls becoming one, they are also two heartbeats beating in resonance. And it is truly the most exhilarating thing to watch.
