Shivay stretched his arm to wrap around her waist and pulled her to him only to let out a gasp. The next moment, he found his hands hovering over her bare arms, neck and forehead as his heart took an abrupt dive to his stomach.
Jerking up to sit on the bed, he quickly turned the lights on only to witness a pale anika, shivering mercilessly on the bed, her body drained off of any color that brings out the youthful innocence from within.
Sh*t!
This part where Shivay finds out about fever, I almost started jumping!! Gosh I wanted such scene on the show so much. and you know the best part? It's your unique way of showing this scene. That he was already feeling guilty of his behavior and that it wasn't the fever that made him apologize at the end. And I loved how you sketched this scene by making shivay pull Anika towards him so he could say sorry but he found out she has fever.
Before she could open her eyes and understand what was happening, she was pulled into the warmth more and felt a hand weaving through her hair.
"Shh, I'm right here..."
Just HOW do you do this Mushfika?! You make me want to marry someone right now so that I could get this sort of love and pampering in my life too!!
Hair ruffled, face drained off of any color, eyes that nothing but give away concern and immense fear for god knows what, breath hitched as his one arm was under her back to hold her securely while the other rested on her forehead, Shivay Singh Oberoi nothing but looked like a complete mess at that moment.
I can so imagine Shivay in this state!! Exactly how He would be shown in the show if something like this were to happen to anika!! just PERFECT!
Staring down at her in disbelieve, Shivay finally whispered, his entire being still shook from the state he found Anika in, "You have fever."
Anika waited patiently for him to speak further but he stayed quiet, and went back to soak the piece of fabric into cold water in the bowl.
"Okay...and?"
"And what? I just told you, you have fever."
"Bossy brooding Oberoi!", muttered anika under her breath
Shivay was about to exit the room when his steps halted and he turned around to look at her with his one eyebrow raised.
Biting her tongue at her pathetic timing, she covered her head with the duvet, making him smirk and shake his head before exiting the room.
Most adorable scene from this OS!!! I don't know how you come up with such little stuff that just touches my heart every single time!! No wonder your work is loved and appreciated by so many people in this forum Mush! I'm so proud 🤗

Shivay held an almost empty ice cream box as he entered the room with the bowl of soup.
"That's an ice cream box.", said Anika proudly.

How much cuter can Anika get? and the fact that Shivay has to put up with this crazy woman🤣 But I guess that's what makes their bond SO unique and special.
And that's what melts my heart everytime - that Shivay and Anika are just pure contrast to each other. Shivay is a serious, quiet and a man of few words while Anika is jolly, nautanki, and chatterbox. And regardless of the contrast, shivay loves her more than anyone in this world. SOOO BEAUTIFUL!
Putting it away, shivay turned the lights off, and laid beside her on his elbow as his fingers weaved through her hair.
"You're spoiling me, Shivay. I'm not used to being pampered so much."
How do you come up with such caring gesture ?? Can you please arrange a shivay for me ?? I need him in my life bass! 🥱🥱 I just pray that I get a husband like him when I get married. Hai bhagwan meri yeh wish puri kar do
And he last bit when Shivay expresses his guilt and say he didn't mean to hurt her, gosh !! Such a perfect ending !! I love how Anika didn't even let him apologize properly because she was aware of how his anger is. yes she was hurt but she brushed it off and didn't hold grudge. that's what I love about both of them. None holds grudges for too long because their love for each other overpowers everyhting. Which married couple don't get into fight? it doesn't matter how much you fight with each other but how you patch up at the end.
Mush, if I say that I love you, I don't hink it would justify my feelings... so i'm not even going to try. Just informing you that I'll probably read this OS million times starting from tomorrow.

I think the only work on which I commented was your last OS "Beauty of being the blemish". but your very first OS which was "time of the month" and then "the aftermath" are some of my all time favorites.
So please keep writing. there are so many people in this forum who love your work and wait eagerly to read something from you. Sorry i'm being selfish because I know you are very busy. but please don't make us wait so much
