The irony that jolts him out of his silence about their Benaam Rishta is the very title that the whole world knows Svetlana as; and that she is the one confering the same on His Wif...Wait he doesn't even consider the so called second bahu of the Oberoi khandaan as His.
The Chiraiyya kept chirping into his silence day in and day out.. "What was she to him???"and returned, with a silence as her reply ever single time. But the reply that she met with today,silenced her once hopeful inner-voice.
It took someone they both despised, to name their relation in a derogatory way, to realize what they meant to each other; and while one tried to mend things his way, those very ways made her feel that she was what she was being entitled as... The other woman!
Try as much as he could, he couldn't make the things fall into place... for they had fallen apart. While he stood a mere spectator of the wreckage of their unnamed relation, she gathered her pieces and left.
And she was GONE...She left him with his silence... taking the warmth that her presence had spread... leaving an aching cold spread through him.
Love you Faye 🤗 for all the angst. You are a marvelous writer in other genres as well but its your angsty write up that hits its mark where it should... Bull's eye... coz it makes one think and feel the dreaded emotions. It makes me feel more humane when I read them and have a tear trickle down or have that knotty feel down my heart. Now that my friend is what is called a miracle... something that only a writer can conjure... and a Lil fairy I know... My Lil Faye 🤗
