I think those fans that are bashing Gauri maybe 1) are frustrated, no one should scold our Zulfi Singh Oberoi - not his wife or his mother or his brother lol and/or 2) haven't seen DBO - all 105 episodes.

Gauri has had just as hard a time with OSO as Anika did with SSO. While Anika was more outspoken and independent and gave the tadibaaz back to Shivaay, Gauri has never had that opportunity and has always back unequal in her relationship with OSO - she's from a village, limited education, mentality of "pati parmeshwar hai" and to top it off Om saved her life.

As much as I adore Omkie, he has insulted Gauri (i.e. loose morals, bad character, gold-digger), never believed her (about Kaali thakur, svetlana, bua ma) when she tried to protect him and his family (has been burnt, cut hands, stabbed, drugged), has been thrown (by him) on the ground, out of his room and nearly out of the house (a good few times) and lets not forget almost got slapped by Omkara Singh Oberoi (showing he definitely is the son of Tej Singh Oberoi).

In spite of this, she has never yelled at him, shown him tadibaaz, disgust, fury or nastiness and forgiven him every single time. In Friday's episode, Gauri apologized quickly and intensely - almost like an abuse victim because she's used to Om misunderstanding and lashing out at her.

In my opinion, her outburst at Om is justified but more importantly required for their relationship to grow. She's pacified her heart when he's been nasty to her but she cant handle sweet and kind Omkaraji because Om doesnt love Gauri and his being nice to her hurts her because its not for her, its not because he accepts that she's his wife, its not because he's truly sorry - its because of his guilt that he didnt believe her and was nasty about it. Season 2 Gauri is now taking Omkara off the pedestal and thats exactly how it should be in two partners in a relationship. I love the current slow development of their relationship:). I hope Bareily-wali Dabang Gauri shows Omkie-Shomkie exactly what she's made of. Besides, Zulfi Singh Oberoi needs to be shaken out of complacency and find his static-current Chulbul in Gauri:)

Finally caught up to the last few episodes and I agree with Gauri totally. She is doing what she needs to do to preserve herself and her heart. She is afraid to trust Om's guilt ridden niceness and civility to her. That is why she was leaving in the first place after BM got caught. What she stayed for was achieved. She had never wanted to impose herself on Omkara's life and that had not changed. But she thought it was her responsibility to get him out of the clutches of BM so she did. I think her gratitude to him played a part in this too, and also her love.

I think now she is in love with him, while before it was more a devotion thing for her. THIS version of Om is even more irresistible. The same guy WE were all in love with for his personality. She is seeing him for the first time and of course, her already weak heart can't take anymore. I understand her situation totally. So her going all angry and argumentative on Om is what I would expect.

Off topic, but I HAD to comment on that Dori scene. It was a superb scene coz it had no over-kill. Am I the only one who couldn't breathe when Om said "May I?" and tied her dori. God the hotness in those two words was too much! Kunal nailed that scene. It was sexy as hell. The subtlety is what did it for me. It was a very loaded moment. But the way he sought her permission just made me melt into a puddle. Gauri's expressions were great too. Kunal you made me your fan again. Surbhi is right you are a Gharam gharam ghulab jamun! LOL
