Alright I have been stalking this thread since yesterday and Aasya it completely makes sense of what you're trying to imply. There's definitely more than meets the eye.
I have read all 14 pages, did my research, re-watched pre-separation episodes, gathered all the facts and here's what I come up with (This is going to be long, so my apologies).
So it looks like Shark Singh Oberio is at work. Jo dikh raha hai wo hai nahi, aur jo hai wo dekhta nahi
As many people already pointed this out, but I'm gonna restate it. To kidnap Shivaay Singh Oberio from his private Jet and keeping him in an isolated place with electromagnetic radiations and cameras needs Money, Money like Malhotras?. Maahi and Kamini used to stay in chawl, so I highly doubt them having millions (Unless of course they robbed a bank or somethig). I also doubt Indian Government paying their ACPs in millions. So the money should come from the Malhotras.
Why Malhotras doing this?? Idk. The Oberios have had some really stupid enemies in past. Few more won't hurt, right?
But do you really think Shivaay Singh Oberio let go of his enemies that easy. NO FREAKING WAY.
He knows Malhotras are behind this chaos in his life (I will explain how)
Where is Maahi??
May be Malhotras have him. Why? Because he knows more than he should. He knows they are behind Oberios and he now wants his brother safe which is not safe for other people involved?? Kamini is still in plan.
Ranveer- Maybe or Maybe not. His behavior towards Priyanka seems genuine. Priyanka looks comfortable with him. He might not know where the money came from and was just playing the part his Maasi was asking to play.
So our Shark Singh Oberio may have figured out that Maahi is indeed his brother and both are true Oberios, contrary to what Kamini claims (The real chip may have info that only Daima knew)
Now Ragini was just waiting for an opportunity to enter Shivaay's life using a Romantic angle. But that's not possible untill Mrs. Shivaay Singh Oberio makes an exist. Killing her is an easy option. With the famous SSO's background check, Shivaay might have figured out that not only his brother, but his wife is in danger too. She always have to face the wrath of the Oberio's enemies. Not this time. SSO looks determined in his moves.
Pinky-Shakti and family knows about Maahi. Shivaay cannot hide about their elder son (I think Maahi is elder than SSO) being alive and in danger. I can totally imagine Shivaay promising his mother to bring her other son home soon. He goes on plan everything.
Kamini is confidently lying about Maahi-Shivaay being her sons. There is no way they are her sons. No mother, I repeat no mother tries to kill her own son no matter how bad she is (A mother can kill someone else for her child, but will never try to kill her own child). Her hatred for Maahi is too strong as well.
Priyanka marrying Ranveer. Shivaay is upset at first, but let's his sister go. May be she keeping a watch on Kamini and trying to figure out her involvement and Maahi's whereabouts for Shivaay.
Everything looks staged. Go re-watch every episode. The entire family is playing along with Shivaay. Annika may or may not be involved.
If Annika is involved and she's just acting then there will be inconsistencies like her voicing out her thoughts like - "I'm sorry Shivaay, but I'm doing this for you. NKK matters to you"
But it will make sense of her conversation with Tia- "Shivaay is with me" "For Shivaay"
I hate inconsistencies, so let's go with option B, Annika doesn't know. She still thinks she doing this to save Shivaay from a heartbreak. But in reality its other way around. Shivaay protecting her from the Malhotras
1. Every scene of Pinky-Annika was in open. Kitchen, Hallway, Living room- where things can be heard by SOMEONE. Fishy, right? Who? Some staff member/security? Why can't Shivaay change the staff? Because if they can bribe the current staff, they can do the same in future. This is a never ending cycle. So just let them watch and think they are winning, when in real they are not.
2. OmRu- Annika- again in open for someone to watch.
3. Shivaay- You really think he will be all cool and romancing his wife, when it was so evident that his wife is in distress. No, unless he was the one who planned everything. Every time, Annika hinted to separation, his expressions showed his pain, nevertheless he has to go with it for his wife and brother.
Why did he suddenly turned into Chaalu Singh Oberio, kissing and hugging his wife at every chance. Making memories, huh???
He didn't stopped Annika from making his video- he knew she was going!
The separation was made to look grand. Media and all. The SSO who throws money at Media to keep his personal life away from making headlines was asking them to print and show about his divorce. Showing Ms. Malhotra that you're single, Mr. Oberio?
Look at his expressions when he was throwing her out- he was not looking at her at all- it was definitely painful. The breakdown was real- he had hurt her.
No reasons were asked for, no explanations were asked for. Why? You really deserve an Oscar for your story writing, direction and acting combine, Billuji.
The next day, he went to see off Sahil because he knew she'll be there and he wanted to make sure she's fine. He was desperately looking for her.
Then Enters Ragini- she thinks she planned everything, but it is Shivaay that planned it. He brings her home.
He did everything to keep Annika out of this mess and she was indeed safe for 3 months at Chanda's place, untill Samar Jeet Malhotra decides to show up one day.
Shivaay realized Ragini is not the only master mind, he has to get close to Samar too and so using Ragini for that.
Annika was at Malhotra's place- his wife is too close to enemies= DANGER.
Throws away chand. Again in hallway- someone's watching? Mr. Oberio, if you really don't want her memories, why don't you throw that Engagement ring of yours? We all need an explanation for that ring.
Admist, Samar buys Happy homes and this alerts Shivaay- his wife is in danger.
Goes there at night to check on her. She's hurt, he gets hurt too. Asks goon to beat him- his punishment for making her go through all this.
The next day, Annika goes for the Job. Samar throws her out- she's of no use. Shivaay haven't seen her in 3 months and probably doesn't care about her anymore, he thinks. Ragini insists to hire her- she knows Shivaay is still into her and they can use her in future.
Shivaay's mission- Keep Annika safe until he finds Maahi
The Dargah scene- There was a faint voice in the background saying "Sagai k liye der ho rahi hai". That could have been for anyone- there were thousands of people around. Why did he think that they were talking about Annika's engagement. He was just buying the time. He was seeing her from so close after 3 months, he needed that time with her. But, again someone's watching, so he has to keep the act going. Argues unnecessarily and keeps the conversation going- he needed to hear her voice. If he really wants to throw her out of his life, he could have just ignore her and waked away. Shivaay Singh Oberio just royally ignores the person he doesn't want to get associate with. The Daadi-Rudy bet in the second episode where Rudy was confident that his Bhaiyaa will throw a fit and throw Annika out. But, as Dadi predicted he just ignored her. Recently, he's doing the same with Ragini.
She's in danger. He needs to bring her back in OM to ensure her safety. Again perfectly staged.
OmRu confronting Pinky in living room. SSO in jail for the world to know. All staged to bring her back.
He indeed transferred his house on her name and that was what Tej was trying to ask yesterday. "What about us, Shivaay?" "What's going on?" He calmly replies, "Its okay"
God, the smile he had while Annika was busy showing her Tadi. Everything is going according to his plan. She will be safe here in front of eyes.
Maybe I'm thinking too much. Trying to read too much into the lines, but then again I'm jus being highly optimist here. What a change for Indian Television it would be if Gulneet turns the whole track this way. We have seen Female protagonists sacrificing their love and all, we might see a whole new side of Male lead doing the same. It will be indeed a NAYI SOCH.
PS- Personally I think Harneet is a great writer. Her way of portraying each character is very deep. Re-watching initial episodes, I'm amazed how well she portrayed ShivOmRu as individuals as well as their bond. The OmRu scene at hospital when Shivaay was poisoned. The ShivKara scene in kitchen after Om tried to Kill himself. However, writing for TRPs is the problem (Well I would have done the same if I have had gone bankrupt). I hope they don't just end this flatly and without a climax. There's a lot of potential in this track if they want to. If they are doing what we all are thinking, it will be like watching the movie Drishyam, lol.
