Nope it is not romantic at all. it looked like vengeance, rage , obsessiveness to me. I've always said Shivaay is addicted to her , she's his precious, something he sits in his man cave playing with alone, and he doesn't share. He's intensely possessive and I find that a little scary. i always imagined Shivaay's jealousy to be destructive and unpleasant, not cute and adorable
He stepped on the phone that linked her with another man. God knows what he'll do to Samar if he was perceived as a threat. SSO will destroy the guy's business, he will own that Chawl where Annika lives by hook or by crook. He is SSO.
I think he waits for her to come to him and explain. The last time he was mad at her, she came rushing back to hug him and say sorry. This time she stays away ,and tries to move on. He wants her apology, and her refusal to makes him angry. So he stops her every job , knows her every step, wants to own the place she lives.
SSO is using all the power of his Naam, Khoon and Khandaan (which she mocked before she left ) to make her life difficult, but his heart plagues him in private because he misses her terribly. it's a conflict, i hope they make Om talk to him ,Shivaay is lost .
