Suffocating Silences Chapter-1shivay singh oberoi and anika shivay singh oberoi were a very happy married couple but some problems and some misunderstandings provoked unwanted and secret silences between them!! the silences that suffocated them to the core!! the silences which made anika to leave her husband and her daughter!! those silences which just killed them!! anika blamed shivay for the mistake and for all those silences!! shivay's one lie or one silence led them to be separated!! anika was heart broken!! shivay was very badly hurt!! there was no trust left between them!!
Later shivaay shifted permanently in Liverpool looking after the business whereas his dance academy was now a managed by omakara..
after years...
(Shivay's POV)
I was in the supermarket looking for some stuffs...being an oberoi I would never come to a supermarket but my daughter...i can never say no to her..she is my life...but just then I felt her I felt her presence for the first time after 4 years maybe she was back!!
a wind blew my coat and I turned back to see what it was!! my heart said it was her
"Anika!!" was only I could sigh
"papa!! mili Kya?" I turned back as my little princess riya called me pulling my pants!!
"yup!! here it is" I smilled and then led her to the gateway!! I could feel someone peeping on us but was not sure and didn't wanted to create a seen too!!
I with my princess came out and went to the car I opened the door for her,then kept the seat belt and sat on my seat as I was putting my seat belt I saw a girl running from there...she wore the same dress..the dress which was specially designed only n only for Anika
I came out running and looked here and there
I kept my hands on head and cried her name
in no more time riya came to me and hugged me
"papa!! wo mumma ki dress mein thi naa"
I couldn't bear anymore because was not even sure of her presence...maybe not sure that I could even face her after what happened between us 4 years back
I took riya home in the next half hour with a silent drive
riya was just of five years but was able to sense the tension on my face and pain in my heart neither she spoke a word nor did I
as we entered our home my eyes went wide in shock!!
"mumma" riya exclaimed in joy and hugged Anika
"aapko mai yaad hoon!!" Anika hugged her with a lone tear escaping her eye
" aap ko mai yaad hoon"
"offo!! mumma ye Kya pooch rahe ho aap mai aapko kaise bhool sakti hoon" exclaimed riya breaking the hug
"aao mai aapko ek cheez dikhati hoon"
riya held anika's hand tightly and dragged her inside a room
what Anika saw there made her numb
the walls of the room were covered with different photo frames all were with anika's pictures alone,some with shivay and some with shivay and riya
Anika couldn't control herself and tears started following through her eyes
I came inside after digesting the utter shock that yes she was here after a wait of four long years
as I entered the room I could see her lost in all those beautiful pictures!!
'Anika!' I said with guilt in my voice
'I am here to meet riya'
she bent down upto riya's level and took out a box rapped in pink paper!!
'happy birthday riya' she said with few more tears rolling down her cheeks
'isme Kya hai mumma?'
' riya aap apne room mein jakar dekho' said shivay
riya in a minute understood what her father was trying to say and headed to her room with no argument
(Narration...)
shivay headed towards Anika but she stepped back
'I came here to wish my daughter!! by shivay!!' she tried to be as cold as she could while speaking the line but hurt was evidentally visible in her voice and eyes!!
she lowered her eyes witnessing that he was looking at her eyes and trying to understand the turmoil going on in her mind!! It didn't mattered how much she hated him now as still her heart could feel each and every emotion of his heart even after 4 years!!
she rubbed her face and cleaned the tears on her cheeks!! she stopped crying and was about to leave the room when she stopped at the door when she heard his words!!
'ek baar phir jaa rahi hoo!! mujhe Aur riya ko chod kar'
he was in tears his face and eyes were totally red!! he turned towards her her back was facing him but still both easily recognized that the other was crying!!
'mai janta hoon galti meri thi par ek baar!! bas ek baar mujhe explain karne ka mauka toh do!!'
'mai yahhan apni beto ko bday wish karne aayi thi and that's it!!'
'pyaar karti ho mujhse?'
Anika gulped hard and answered in a heavy voice 'no not at all' with tears streaming down her face!!
she just left the room running out wiping her tears when shivay came from back, held her hands and pinned her to the wall
'peechle 4 saalo se ek hi ans. kyu deti ho?' he asked her with an aggressive and arrogant look
'peechle 4 saalo se ek hi question kyu poochte ho?'
'kyunki har baar tum wahi jawab deti ho Jo sach nahin hota' he said beating his right hand on the wall
she closed her eyes and answered him pushing back!!
'I said I hate you and can never love you back' keeping her hand on her mouth she left the place crying!!
shivay broke at the moment
'I am sorry Anika!! I am sorry!! bas ek baar meri baat toh sun lo bas ek baar!!
Anika then walked on the streets of Liverpool from shivay's home till the angel cake cafe managed by her newly made frnds Karen and kazia!!
she sat on one of the seats inside and broke down into tears sobbing and gulping hard!!
'mujhe yahan nahin aana chahiye tha!!' as she says this she just brake down more and lied her down sobbing harder!!
soon she heard a someone fighting on the corner seat!! she sobbed and cleared her face rubbing a handkerchief on her face!! she saw the gang sitting there
they were the children of Karen and kazia i.e., anya and Dan with their frnds sitting beside!! the whole cafe knew about Dan and Anya's new relationship and so does she!!
Anika saw them fighting cutely about who is crct and who is not!! she smiled watching them and thought their fight to be as cute as she and ... but before she could think about shivay she leaves the cafe slamming the door behind with her eyes blurred with the salty water!!
shivay there went into riya's room with His eyes red he then saw here daughter sitting at a corner hugging her knees and a photo frame BTW. them held close to her heart!!
shivay came upto her and saw that she was sleeping!! he slowly removed the photo frame and noticed that it was the photo frame of Shivay and anika and riya actually the newly born riya!!
he rembered about how lucky and happy those days were!! but he never knew that those days were just a few and the bad days which surrounded them were to be countless!! he slowly picked up riya from the floor and a placed her on the bed watching her dry tears!!
he felt really guilty thinking how he has been the one once again to destroy his daughters birthday!!
In the evening he took riya and her friends to the his and riya's fav place that is the beach restaurant in order to make her happy!!
riya's happiness knew no bounds but just from outside because somewhere inside she was really sad and hurt watching her mother for the first time at for how much she remembered and her father fighting and crying!!
they returned home soon as neither shivay was interested in the party nor did riya!!
riya went in her room with the huge bags of gifts and shivay went to his room!!
(In shivay's voice from now)
she was here today but why? if she really hated me then why was she here!! maybe it was just for riya as she loves her but if she lives her then why was she not here within last four years!!
ohh shivay you are damn mad its all bcoz of you that she hasn't came here!! you hurted her to such an extent that she was sent to the mental hospital!!
I just sat on the bed and gulped hard!! just then I don't know why I felt like reading it all once again!! maybe just to revive those good days at nights of the upcoming worst days as I know they would be coming!!
I took out a fat diary from the drawer and blower the layer of dust from it!! as I remember that I lastly opened this diary to write the last chapter of my life with her that too on the last day!! that was the day 4 years back right after the day Anika left me!!
the diary looked really beautiful after all it was me who wrote it and edited it with all the pictures!!
I opened the first page of my diary and sat back taking the support of bed head extending legs on the bed under the blanket!!
the first page looked very beautiful it was full of mine and anika's college days pictures and our most precious wedding pic which did not pay a bit to us now!!
I turned the page and saw the date mentioned above at the top!!
it was the date when I the college hunk shivay singh oberoi thought of the dream girl thingie..

hey my dear diary!! advance mein sry Haan!! bcoz tum meri love diary ho... jis din mujhe aisa lage ga ki mujhe koi apne liye mil gayi hai ya phir mujhe pyaar hone lagega toh mai tumhe aage likhoonga!! apni har choti badi feeling ko Tumse share karoonga!! tab tak ke liye sry!!

I turned a page and then saw it..it was the same date when I saw Anika for the first time and felt something for her also known as love at first sight!! aaah actually in our case it was hate at first sight but still I felt if she was the one who could be my soulmate!!
(Diary starts)
hey my diary!!
see I am back is baar with my dream girl's face in my mind!!
I met her today!! she came like a storm of glamour and passed me with a rain.. a rain of love+hate!!

these lines were enough for me to go in flash back!!
*flashback*
I stood there in the college at the right side staircase clicking selfies and hugging my die-heart fans or chicks who checked me out from top to bottom!!
just then the new entry to the college entered the door who was being talked by everyone in the college except me since last 6 days!!
yess...the news about Anika the winner of youth style icon and student of the year at London university was to enter our college because of her family shifting to india,and as audible she didn't wanted to live in London without her family so she came here and joined our college!!
she just stepped in the gate with a lot of mouth hanging boys following her!! she slapped the faces of all the girls just by her killer looks!!
she was rushing down the stairs from the left side stairs and I was trying get away from those cheesy chicks rushing down from the right side stairs I didn't actually noticed her coming down and was in full rage and was exhausted!! just then... Dhamm!!!
I was on the floor with my head on one of the stair and she was above me!! I met her eyes and saw the anger in them she stood up and started shouting!!
"can't you just walk properly!! idiot"
I was still on the floor looking at her thinking what's in her making her spcl from others!! actually she made my inner soft heart melt and made me think about her
she kicked me a bit and I came in senses getting up!!
"dekh ke chalna nahin aata Kya?" she shouted once again
"l am sorry!!" I said still lost a bit thinking...thinking about her.
"its OK" she said with a disgust!!
"by the way aapko lagi toh nahin kahin?"
"huh" I was confused
"han!! I mean u did hit your head with the stair!! r u OK?"
"yaaa I am OK!! thanks for your concern!!"
"concern!! whatever!!" she maid a face and went away!"
*flashback ends*
I opened my eyes coming out of the trance!! coming out of the memories!! memories of those happy days!!
I felt a bit happy!! remembering those days but i had a fear in my mind about what will the scenario of the upcoming days!! thinking this he slept hugging his diary!!
at the other side anika stood in her hotel room holding a picture of her and shivay!!
(anika' voice)
"aapko kya laga tha ki aap kuch bhi karoge aur mai chup rahoongi!! no way shivay kya kaha tha aapne chaar saal pehle court mein!! that i am mentally disturbed and dont have any resources to keep my daughter safe!! Mr. shivay singh oberoi i am back aur is baar aap uss anika se milenge jisko aap shayad ek percent bhi nahin jaante!! meri beti ko alag kiya tha na aapne mujhse aur keh kya rahe the ki mai use chod ke chali gayi!! sorry shivay singh oberoi is baar baari meri hai!! mai apni beti ko waapas leke rahoongi aapse!! aur is baar aap kuch bhi nahin kar paaoge!!"
saying this a tear drop fell from her eye but she wipped it quickly!! took a lighter from the drawer and came came to the window!!
she ignited the lighter and set the picture to burn under those blue flames throwing it out of the window on the bare road in front!!
" watch out bcoz this is my time!! i swear tomorrow's morning is gonna be the worse one for you!!"
next morning...
(narrator's voice)
shivay was sitting on his breakfast table with riya!!
anika came inside the home
"Mr. Shivay Singh oberoi" she shouts
shivay come there with riya to the main hall
riya goes and hugs her mother!! anika bent down and kissed her cheek asking her to go to school!!
riya picks her bag up and leave to the school!!!
"why are you here?" shivay asks
anika smirks and throws to envelope on the table
shivay pick them up!! and enquires about what is inside!! anika els him to open them and see shivay took out both papers!! both of them seemed to be some court papers!! shivay read them both and dropped them down on the floor with a utter shock on his face!!
