she was not even a girlfriend Ashar always made it very clear that sara was just his cousin and a casual friend that eh never had that sort of feelings for her ever . she was the only one who was attracted to him in that way and kept hoping that ashar will change his opinion and kept scheming along his mother who was her mausi to get his wife who was also his cousin as in bua ki beti out of his life . well what happened was when they were settled in their relationship the mother trapped the girl and made it look like she was having an affair with another rishtedaar caz khirad only wanted money bla bla and was using ashar she created the whole scenario where it looked like she was in a compromised position with the guy and the husband walked in so ashar threw khirad out had a mental breakdown what he didn't knew was that khirad was pregnant with his child. she kept pleading and saying she wasn't wrong whatsoever just listen to him but nope ashar didn't so she left a letter that had the entire truth about his mother and what actually happened with a naukar to give it to him when he calms down but he didn't read it and threw it in some old garbage caz he was so mad. then 7 yrs later she comes back with medical reports and tells him that she was pregnant they have a daughter but she is dying and is in immediate need of heart surgery first he accuses her of lying again but she is like i have no intentions to come back but you owe this to your child and you are free to get a dna done or whatever you need to be sure so etc etc he makes a bahana and sends his mother away and brings his daughter home for her treatment. in that phase he falls for khirad again after hating on her and now wants the daughter with him yada yada yada in the meantime the mother comes back and starts her poising again and secretly wishes for her granddaughter to die as she hates khirad so much and keeps saying the kid is najayaz when she isn't but the daughter gets fine he proposed her again she rejects and that night khirad once again leaves with the letter that he can keep his daughter and she will survive it will be hard but it's ok she can't deny her daughter to be with her father but khirad's self respect doesn't allow to live in the same house with this big accusation on her. phir he is searching his stuff and ends up finding that letter everything becomes clear he goes brings khirad back does OMM of his mother . in the meantime sara the psycho figures she has no chance toh she commits suicide and the evil saas goes mad caz beta did ehr royal OMM and brought hisbiwi back
