I think they make perfect couple. You compromise only to people you love , out of love... marriage is bond of love and sacrifice( in better version compromise 😊 ) . Without compromise from each other marriage wont stick . They are showing Shivika bond beautifully, not like the TV soap version atleast. That makes IB different for me...

I feel Shivay would hve married Anika anyway, he was smitten by her even when he was engaged to Tia... Well Shivay expressing his love by caring for his wife in everyway... 😳

Even I wonder this always.
What if he didn't marry her?
What if Daksh's psycho behavior was never revelied?
They are actually bounded by the marriage.(At least Shivay!)

I always wonder this too... how would it have played out if he didnt marry her, and instead cancelled the wedding altogether. My guess is that it would have taken him many months to man up and pursue her completely.

Actually I didn't watching Ishqbaaz since the beginning but I think Shivaay just searched for a reason to marry or"get Anika.From the very beginning he was mesmerized by her but wouldn't accept or reveal it.The forced marriage was just a "bahana"for him.If not by force he would get close to her anyway.

You know I had the same doubts after he accepted anika as his wife. There was no self realization on his part so i was in confusion about whether he did it out of love or out of responsibility? Does he even realize that he is in love? But, now I don't think his self realization is necessary, nor the confession because his actions and expressions speak volumes that even words cannot express. They passed the point way before and what they have now, what they are doing for eachother right now can't be merely because of the sense of responsibility or sympathy. It's beyond that, nothing except deep love and the terror that they might lose what they share can justify their actions and somewhere I believe they both are aware of it. Their comfort level, their dialogues, their trust, their actions and expressions...basically everything shows that they are aware of eachother's feelings. These two share an unspoken understanding, their relationship is special that way, which is why I don't even want a confession scene now.

I have to keep telling myself, that these 2 are different and unconventional. When Shivaay has made a commitment, as he has now, it can't be a compromise because he feels so deeply for Annika. It has changed him. He smiles, he is less angry, he is thoughtful and sweet , he is loving with Sahil, he takes care of her. Even his version of what a husband "should" be has changed.

Shivaay has definately changed from what he was . The slow realization of annika 's importance . But somehow their conversations about acceptence , sharing , caring and being together gives me the arrange marriage vibes . Lol not like i am saying its bad .. Its beautiful infact how they are moulding eachother to accept this relationship and buliding their future together . Shivaay has always kept his relationships as his priority as a brother , son and grandson ( in descending order ) now that he has a new relationship he is maintaing that too . He is proving to be an amazing understanding , protective husband , but his ishqbaaz side is yet to be seen . So him doing these sweet little things like making her comfy , feeding her hugging her seems more out of sympathy and responsibility than love .

I feel, we have seen the character change from SSO to Annika's Shivaay version 2.0, his best version. Once he doesn't feel cynical about the word Love , when it comes to her ,he'll realize he loves her.

Waiting for that day

Annika has been changing since the marriage. The brash and independent girl fought tooth and nail not to get married , she was literally dragged through each one ritual. She takes vows seriously esp ones she made to God. So she has been loyal to her marriage vows from the beginning, even as he has been trying to toss her out.

She never imposes on him, just does her duty sans drama. It was like another burden God put on her head for her to deal with.

But slowly she saw that Shivaay made her feel important to him. He never let her go. She started trusting him more than herself. Someone cared for her and his presence in her life became something she valued. His strength, his conviction , his power to make things happen. He even showed his weakness to her and she will protect that from everyone.

Hahah long story short, their marriage is bound now by immense trust and understanding, Love is like a garnish up on this dish.

You know it irks to hear this from Shivaay that he or they have accepted each other in this marriage.. its clear right from the time he was marrying Tia overnight that his choice is Anika but hthere's no class in her he has to reject her.. Anika was the reason he preponed his wedding date and even the time he was coming down ready in his groom attire..there was conflict between his mind and heart over the ONS mu. Now the cvs need to make him realise about his liking for Anika .. like the NKK thing is taking a back seat. . the realisation of love needs to come
