One thing for sure. Shivaay has made up his mind, and cemented it. He is fully committed in this marriage now, for himself and Annika. The more he says it, the more sure he looks and defends it.
I tell you, the look on his face, when she was saying that she was happy. 😭 She said God had the Michmichis when she got small happiness, and always took something larger in return. Now that she has seen Sweet Singh Oberoi, she worries.
(That compliment is adorable. You can see how much it pleased him when she said that)
I am more scared of happiness than I am of darkness...
He is becoming more authoritative as a husband now, taking charge of their relationship and of protecting her. Telling her he will make sure things go right for her. She actually told him how happy she was, and was afraid God would take it away, as He did all her happiness before.
He silences her from completing the sentence. I'm here to stay. For you. For US. Because we have accepted each other.
"Whatever happiness that has come in your life, is here to stay for always. I'll fight God if I have to. I promise you that."
They hug again. (Their hugs are the best, really comforting type hugs, so so comforted they are in those hugs)
Another precious little moment was when he teased her, "Pagal, you cry even more when you're happy than when you're sad. Big fat tears I can see, they are because you're happy? "

That little wave of the hand, telling her to stop crying made me grin at the comfort level they have achieved. Not horribly lovey dovey, but still so close.
Pinky actually has already lost the battle for her son's psyche. She does not even have his ear anymore, and doesn't even realize the big chasm that she has created between herself and her son.
His body language with her is not even defensive anymore, it is in ATTACK mode, impenetrable and offensive in his stance. His mother's raised voice has no effect whatsoever , he is impervious to it.
My question is why is DADI not saying anything to back Shivaay up about the pooja being difficult for Annika? She says the pooja can be done without Annika's details, just that her name won't be included in the family ancestry papers.
Pinky rubs it in. Oh, Omkara's and Rudra's wives will be included in the ancestry but not MY SON's?
Woman, can't you see ? You are asking him to dump his wife because she doesn't have details of her family to furnish some ancestral tree. Does that make any sense?

And he refuses to give anymore time to the mother's fussing. Dadi's silence really annoyed me.
Annika struggles with the weight of the revelation that Mahi is Shivaay's twin. She wants to tell him, but she wants to make sure there is no ulterior motive on Mahi's side. If there was a story waiting to be revealed on that side that she should know first.
She hugs Shivaay for strength. She is now protective of him too. She wishes him luck for his press-con , and he teases that it isn't war.
If it were a war, I would never let you lose.
(Yes, Shivaay gains a Jhansi ki Raani by his side, despite his Mother being his biggest saboteur right now. Whatever raita , this Naintara brings with her, Annika will not let it disturb Shivaay. One way or another. She might expose her own mother as fake...you never know)
GOSH! That press conference was stuff on nightmares.
Shivaay walked into an ambush of his mother's scheming. She actually planted reporters to ask embarrassing questions to put Shivaay on the spot, as to his wife and his previous idealistic views on marriage of advantage.
How can a mother humiliate her son in public like this?? When he has been all about protecting the family from humiliation and outside scrutiny, she goes and exposes him in an ambush like this.
Not only that, Naintara walks in in the middle and announces she is Annika's mummy!! And happily announces that she is a bar dancer to the press.

Oh, he will. Very smoothly. He will shut everybody up because it is none of their business.
If this woman was who she says she is, then it isn't about him, or his pride, it is about ANNIKA's LOST FAMILY. He will have to decide how to tell her, when he had just promised her to let the matter go.
Will he hide it? Perhaps. But looks like Pinky will make sure the sordid details come out.
What can this woman do? If she is actually who she says she is, she abandoned her daughter(s) many years ago, hungry and sick, alone to fend for themselves. And now she walks in claiming to be the Mummy? What do you think Shivaay will do?

What worries me is, why did Annika reveal the DNA test result to Mahi?
The man may have saved Shivaay's life, but you don't go telling these sensitive things to him? You don't know him at ALL!!
Now, he'll go ask Kamini, who'll crawl out from underground darkness somewhere and go blackmail the Oberois.
