This indeed is the only couple and only show and Harneet is the only one who has full focus on the very little of the details. Every episode past and upcoming is linked and bridged to the initial and following till date episodes. Every thing is so perfect... You miss *ONE SINGLE PHASE* of ShivIka and u miss the whole beauty and charm of ShivIka. U miss one single episode of Shivika and u miss the whole meaning of their relationship.
Spot on and I agree. Even the random filler ones will end up having something that we relate the future episodes to.
Many have ranted their anger about Annika as well as the episode being too much OTT. I for one Disagree to the Nth %.
For people who have watched And understood and connected with shivIka from EPISODE 1, will understand and actually be able to read the difference between the *TWO ANNIKAS* that IB has.
1) Annika has always been bubbly and live and chirpy and very irritating with continuous chatter and very Awful jokes. Pakau Jokes as we say.
2) She is not the same with every one. She behaves accordingly with people as they are and according to her comfort level with them.
We agree on this as well gurl. I have said this in her defense as well many times. So yes, there are 2 Annika's and have been right form the start.
Even when she came to OM as a wedding planner she would be the carefree chatterbox with everyone, including Pinky back then, except with Shivvay, Shakti and Tej
It would actually irk Shivvay to no end that she was that comfortable with his Family in such a short span of time.
But with him she always maintained a very businesslike and distant approach and as time passed she kinda got comfortable around him as well.
That is because Annika never tried to impress or please anyone - she is who she is and has a very high level of self respect and self confidence. I love that about her. You do not see her moaning about how unfair life has been to her and use that as an excuse to become a negative and needy person but instead she brushes that off, picks herself up and wears those experiences like a war veteran would proudly wear his medals.
This has definitely been a positive influence on Sahil who never once mentions his handicap as something he feels will hamper him from doing what he wants.
She was always bad with Jokes. And best with PJs. She is Very very same to Rudra in this case. Both are best in lame jokes and too much banter. True again. That is why Rudy understands and supports her because he relates to her at some level.
Annika in initial episodes before marriage and Annika after marriage has vast difference. Poles apart. Very opposite.
Annika who was always laughing, joking, screaming in comedy, whistling, clapping, teasing, taunting, making fun of, giving lame examples, Etc etc, suddenly is Sobbing, crying, lonely, mature, hurt, wounded, silent, hollow, quite, disturbed, tensed, etc etc.
Annika who was Vibrant became Faded. Annika who was a Child becomes a mature adult in a weeks time.
And that would have been a normal and natural reaction from anyone in her shoes. How can one not have their faith broken and emerge unchanged. She trusted the man to be a 'call away' and the very same man turned into her worse nightmare.
Liken it to a war child who has suffered a bomb blast in a place he/she thought was a safe haven from the war.
Only after Annika finally settles with the SSO , who once was the same guy whom she cracked lame jokes and Showed equal tadi with and Suddenly she witnesses a monster and is actually the victim of it and then again becomes the ONLY witness to see the transformation from monster to Human and Human to Hero. She has seen it all. She now knows his weaknesses and strengths. She knows it all. And Now she is very settled with him.
I mentioned this a few posts ago too. She may have been married to him but there was no acceptance till recently, only a commitment that he was responsible for her and her well being.
Annika maintained her emotional distance till then with the fear of being rejected the day her past came to light.
Actually she always was. Because somewhere she saw herself in him. Little but same, little but different. So did he. Today after that whole journey they travelled together, both are so perfectly fit like the puzzle pieces, they feel complete and very comfortable and very very equal.
And that was the whole purpose of the Panvel trip, car blowing up and them finding shelter etc etc. They got to spend time away, which we have always wished for, talking honestly and openly. Just chillin'
Annika is a Mad Woman, shez crazy, smart, quirky, annoying, irritating, talkative, lame, funny, chripy, jovial, lively, colourful. With her Shivaay learnt or RATHER I would say he got the COURAGE to bring out the little child hidden in him and live it to full form which he couldn't do in his past life and childhood due to responsibilities and Moms dreams of perfect son and Family's Rock solid wall.
He finds Power to Be colourful and enjoy the odds his heart and mind thought never existed and only were printed in books and played in movies.
He has found this very strength when he sees her doing crazy stuffs that I can steal this moment and be crazy like her with her and nobody will know. Hez different with her. And so Is She.
Right. She teaches him and allows him to drop his mask and just be himself. Paan Banaraswala style or Hum Tum Ek Kamrey Mein Style that is an Avaatar that she brings out of hiding only when they are alone. She too understands that that part of him is for 'her eyes only' and will try everything possible to keep it that way - deleting Rudy's video
She is very possessive of 'Her Shivvay' who has not been and will never be introduced to the world at large. He and his vulnerabilities, faces and his Billuji - ness is only for her alone.
We all share that with our respective partners. Trust me my husband is a completely different man when he is with me and when he is with the world outside.
Shivaay Singh Oberoi is Shivaay (himself) only with Her. And Just Annika is Just Annika ( Herself) only with Him.
True again. Besides him only Sahil has been privy to her other side but of course on a brotherly level - not a husband one. That is why he seeks Sahil out and vice versa when there is trouble in Paradise because only Sahil has the map of the road Annika traveled to become who she is today while Shivvay is using that information to map their future journey to make her who she will be tomorrow.
He is going to use the very same fears that she cowers from in the dark of night to make her stronger to face them and her past. I am sure she has wiped out her past because of these fears and only facing them will help her recover her past
Annika is never this loud and quirky with Others or when is inside the Oberoi Mansion. She a caged bird there. She is Mrs . Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi , who has taken over the same heavy responsibilities that Shivaay had adding to that the Responsibility of saving her Husbands life. When shes there in the mansion. She is version 2. Mature, Intelligent, Perfect bahu,perfect sister, perfect wife, serious, stressed, busy, scared of upcoming problems, always Occupied.
True again and that is the part of Shivvay that has rubbed off on her from before they married. She has been changing from back then. Remember Mr. Chabra mistaking her to be Shivvay's fiance?? That is the poised, cool, sauve and completely Oberoi part of Annika.
Even Shivvay, to his major discomfort, noticed it back then which is why he hurled the hurtful comment that just because you behave like one of us does not make you one of us.
He could see that side of her developing faster than a 'rabbit on skates' and grudged it because he saw himself drawn to this woman who was fast ironing out any creases that would hamper her from being mistaken for an Oberoi Blue Blood.
That is why we all love her so much because each of us can relate to Annika version 1 and Annika version 2. I certainly can - I am one version with my in-laws and the world completely another with my hubby ..lol
This is what ShivIka truly are. They are crazy, mad , insane and khidkitod and obviously hadditod as well.
... again I am sure like most of us are in our relationships/ marriages 😉 They are an everyday couple who live a real life (as close to a real life as a reel life can make it of course) just like most of us.
The whole Jungle track showed us what ShivIka are when they are free from all the burdens. To show us and make them realize as well that they are as normal and as fun loving and have every right tp live their life their way and yes they do have the privilege of As lucky as Those in books and movies.
True. It was a glimpse into what the future together held for them. That is why he sat admiring her while she slept and realized that they had something good here ... very good and that he needed to make sure that he held on to it and made her hold on to it as well.
Right now I am more worried about Annika's commitment to holding on and weathering the storms than Shivvay. He has already revealed that he is the unshakable Banyan tree with deep... deep roots and a very large shade to protect her from everything and all. Now all he needs her to do is stay within that shade and hold on to the tree as tightly as she can when the next storm came so that she would not be sucked into the vortex of that storm and be lost forever.
She is the weak one here and he is very... very aware of it. That is why he keeps making her repeat the promise that she will fight and not be shaken - no matter what is thrown their way.
