Knowing those people who left her to fend for herself at such a young age. Knowing those people coz of whom she had to suffer every single day. Her life was a struggle. there was a question mark on the word of tommorow for her. Why will she want to know those people? Who have given nothing but pain to her.

And its her way of dealing with that pain. She feels she is fine. She doesnt want to know or probably she has once tried knowing but she knows it lead to nothing but more pain.

How does she know how her parents left her? Kids could have been lost too. Unless she knows something her vehement denial really doesn't make sense. Even If she tried earlier and failed, then she should have told. Also resources shivaay might have and she had are different. He can really help. I can only think that she fears finding worst information that she doesn't want to deal with.

It should be her choice to find out or not. If she doesn't want to know who her parents are it's completely acceptable. She is much independent and absence of parents hasn't turn her miserable.

I think she's just scared of what she'll find. If it turns out that her parents didn't want her and they gave her up or if she turns out to be an illegitimate child or something of the sort, the truth will probably break her. Maybe she painted a certain picture of her parents in her mind and she doesn't want to risk destroying that image. She's just saving herself from heartbreak. But the CVs didn't really show any proper reasoning from Annika's side on this matter. I would imagine her getting frightened at the thought of finding her parents, but they're just showing her getting pissed about it and having a comical fight with Shivaay. Maybe they're saving the intense stuff for later.

She has accepted the fact that she is alone and she doesn't want to know abt her past. It's her choice.
And now even if she'll get to know abt het past, her parents what will she get? nothing!
Knowing abt her parents won't erase the painfull memories of her past.
So sometimes its better to forget things!

What if her parents lost her and searching for her? Past can come back even if you don't want it.

Mahi and shivaay both told to not bother about it but did she leave the matter? Mahi may know something and doesn't want it to come out, if you go by same argument.
