Awesome post Pearl! I love how you weave plots together and it makes sense.
Imagine Shivaay's horror if secretly he follows a long trail into Annika's past, little by little he finds that his own father+Tej did something that caused Annika to lose her family and ending up in the streets, lost and destitute.
If as a result of that guilt, Shakti changed. From that guy who romanced a girl like Kamini like a romeo Kishore Kumar, into the Bhajan-singing redemption seeking pale shadow of a man. Then Annika would be his redemption too. Shivaay will keep it a secret too, because he can't lose his Annika , not permanently like that.
IDK why I can't seem to shake off the thought that it is Pinky, not Tej+Shakti, who is a dark horse. Shivvay may see a side to his mother that he has never seen before
But this secret is for the ultimate high point. It's too big to use now. I think there will be a series of red herrings as we go along.
But what is sure is Shivaay himself will fight his prejudices. His mother does not know what Shivaay is capable of doing, when his protective avatar is awakened.
Yesterday, he broke many things: television (media/society impression), furniture (his pride in luxurious lifestyle), his image in the mirror (his pride in his lineage), the lights (kept thinking of Mahi's "itna mast chandelier" --- I'm not sure 😛).
I kinda liked the guy ... he was the chill innocent version of Shivvay
I loved the pride in Rudra's eyes for his big brother. He was truly happy to see Shivaay's good side come through strong. 👏 The brothers' bond was forged from childhood, their loyalty to each other is thick and impenetrable. Shivaay's bond with Annika is being melted and reinforced now, like steel of a sword and a shield.
Reminded me of dragon steel for some reason
A tad dramatic, i know. But i'm in that kinda mood..😆
