What just happened lol. I understand she has abandonment issues and is insecure about her position in his life, but he answered her question very directly.
She knows how deeply rooted his principles are and believes wholeheartedly that he would never accept her, but now she is upset because he'll never change. Told Sahil she had no hope and was fine with the present so why she is freaking out now? She never left even after all the awful things that happened to her (much to my dismay lol), but is suddenly walking out leaving poor Sahil behind. Her reaction was a bit much. Looked like she was a having a temper tantrum for the hell of it.
What does she want? To be acknowledged? He did that already.
To know where she stands in his life? He told her, again.
To have him forsake his principles for her? It's foolish to expect him to get over ideals that have been with him all his life in minutes and it's selfish to want him to give up his entire identity the same day he found out about hers. He assumed she was from a middle-class family so he has been avoiding the topic like the plague, but it turns out its worse because she is an orphan.
Why is she crying in the bedroom scene? because she is an orphan? because of her insecurities? Her conversation had some heavy lines for someone who is fine with the status quo. It would have made more sense after a confession and he was still struggling over her NKK. Her lines about their relationship losing and him valuing NKK over their relationship would have been apt then. Right now, she jumps from dosti to biwi all the while being content with the way things are so I'm confused why is she reacting like this. She should be happy, no? Her character sketch is utterly confusing. The writers are overdoing the "love makes you weak" plot device. I miss my old Anika😆
In his defense, when did he say NKK( in general or in terms to her) didn't matter to her or to anyone else for that matter?
The episode was random, but it wasn't the usual IB randomness.
