*Angry Rant Begins*

Today's episode was PLAIN BORING AS HECK. No other way to describe it.

1) Kal tak Anika was sure of billu's love. Today she's in doubt. Agar doubt tha toh why has she been SO quiet till now?

2) Also, doesn't Shivaay know about Anika being anaat? How much does he know? Why has no one ever bothered to tell us?

3) I loved Mahi but honestly, I've stopped giving any effs about him. If they kill him tomorrow WITHOUT proper closure, I wouldn't give a single hoot. As long as this raaz of his sees the light of day as soon as possible.

4) Anika gets shot in the shoulder. She could have died. Not a single Oberoi (except Shivaay) gives a single eff. Billu is not even hurt and the whole family is hovering over his bed. So Anika doesn't merit a single scene like that? I thought such ghissa pitta tracks were beyond the writers? Obviously, it's only ghissa pitta if it's Anika on the bed. (All else I can forgive. This point hurt me deeply)

5) Pinky is in character, yes. But woman will obviously blame Anika for what was CLEARLY Shivaay's fault. Kal tak I felt bad about her. Today, she annoyed me even though I could get where she came from. Her feelings might be justified but the person they'll be targeted towards is going to be typical saas bahu stuff.

6) So billu is going to have a problem with her NKK? Even though he's been trying to get down and dirty with her? If that was the case, why hasn't he tried to find out about her past before?

I swear to GOD, if he leaves her SOLELY because of NKK, I'll break something. I can understand something else combined with NKK but precap has me freaked. There has been SO MUCH PROGRESS shown. Still, NKK is enough to put Shivaay off Anika - and that too, only because she's an anaat from an orphanage?

Guys they are finally going to address shivika than some 2Rs vamp. Please let them!
Ya the above stuff is still there, but cvs kabhi consistent nahi tha. Its NM & SC, how their offscreen bonding grew over time!

I felt so disappointed today Risha. I didn't know what to do after the episode. Didn't feel like writing anything.

HOw can they diminish Shivaay's character , in such a silly manner, just to give Pinky a reason to hate Annika?

This is the first Shivika scene I was cringing through out.

Everybody saw the hurt on Pinky's face, even Annika.

WHy did she have to obey him? They are two sides to share .

Did you see the look on Rudra's face? Even Dumbell Oberoi felt the pinch . But not Razor Sharp Oberoi...

I just get so frustrated when they sabotage their own characters to make way for drama.

Just like the absence of hospital scenes, opting for soft post recovery sentimental scenes, was an okay move. But this?!

I feel something weird on the cards.

Mahi is suddenly made to be a sacrificing 'older brother'- guardian angel- type, and both Shivaay and Pinky are dead set against him.

In an odd tangent, Annika of all people, is starting to feel sympathy for Mahi.

Kamini has vanished, as has Ranveer. So Mahi will be around?

And Annika crying over her orphan status would have had me rubbishing her concerns last week. But this weird Shivaay, who just snubbed his own mother, I'm not so sure of.

my simple explanation to this is harneet's obsession with shivaay and now mahi! she has given 0 character growth to anika to satisfy her harmonal love for ML😆😉

also yes, no one worried about anika after being shot is getting on my nerves! i just want to go like u assholes, this woman saved ur heera beta 😡 show some of ur concern

Answering one question at a time

1- i think she might have thought that Shivaay 's NKK beleives have changed (or at least weakened after saying that she's his wife) but according to a photo that i just posted ... ithink there will be a press conference in which Shivaay might say anything about NKK that shows annika that his believes are still string as ever (or not as weak she thought them to be) thus the precap

2- technically the word orphan applies to anyone who looses their parents under the age of 18 (which means Sahil is an orphan too)

Shivaay knows that annika has grown up without her parents and that they're dead (so he's fine with it)

i think what annika meant is Shivaay deosn't know that doesn't know who her family is, where she came from and how did she become an orphan at all (he thinks she's sahil's sister...real one)

3- ok i like mahi ... i have missed brothers track so much that i am ready to accept NM caressing his own face with love😆

but the way the're moving things... he's not going anywhere for at least a month (my P.O.V)

4- i think the whole annika being shot track was sooo fastened up that i actually don't get the point of it ... tell me one good thing that came out of it ...

it didn't make pinky more of a mother to annika ... it didn't get critical to say that we got Shivaay's pain ... we didn't get kamini caught for shooting her ...

so if u actually remove the entire annika shot track from the show.. .. it won't make a difference really ... i wasn't all for hospital scenes but i wanted an outcome ...in ANY RELATION

5- for starters i think it's a habit for shivaay now to call annika the moment he wakes up but he was wrong in what he did... very wrong

they both could have sat on his either side ... just like Omru used to set equally next to him

and it's normal for pinky to blame annika (a mother always takes her child's side by blaming others ... till she accept annika as HER DAUGHTER , we will be getting this Saas bahu drama every time Shivika fight

6- no comment ... he will not not accept her ... he will stay quiet if u ask me (just like he was speechless yesterday)

he becomes speachless when his heart and mind are fighting and he can't pick a side

causing annika to get hurt in the process and perhaps leave or ask for divorce (for real this time)

don't worry Risha😆😆😆

he'll be quiet only (kind of before he admitted to the press that she is his wife ...)

Anika fell in love with him but b4 also she confessed to Sahil that he may never love her due to NKK.
Shivaay took a long time to even accept her as his wife and he didn't say anything else to her.
She has heard him call her beautiful,his taakat but never that he loves her and for a girl who has lived a lonely life where whoever she loves leaves her,this declaration is important.
I think she may say lot of things now and act normal but she never really forgot that Shivaay married her to save his family's reputation,his mother still doesn't like her and she has never really fit in with the Oberois. No one even cared that she did so much for the family.An example being her getting shot and during ShiTia wedding how no one supported her except dadi and Obros.
She may be an exception to NKK but that doesn't mean that Shivaay has forgotten all about it and he wont. That being said I am sure the CVs will show NKK+ something to separate ShiVika.
I am waiting to c how Cvs will play this NKK thing. Maybe Shivaay will say something in anger about NKK to Anika and she will realize that this NKK wil always be a wall b/w them and walk away from his life and by the time Shivaay realizes that he was harsh on her she will be gone from his life or maybe he wont support her when needed
I have no idea about that orphan thing. I think Shivaay is under the impression that she is an orphan bcos her and Sahil's parents died and not that she lived in orphanage and later was adopted.
About Mahi,well,i never liked him and I find him boring.I am also hoping that his character will end soon.

Posting on IF after ages. I categorically avoid indulging in Gul shows, for they start on a promising note and then the potential of plot is lost in illogical, inconsistent, unrelatable track. I have been binging on Ishqbaaz only from the time of Tia's marriage climax. I guess, Anika is stunning to capture my attention and risk my time and energy with another Gul show. The lady has potential. But even though she has progressed from the time of Geet, and IPKKND, this show even though a lot similar wrt character is going down the same road. Or roadless/trackless.

My suggestion for her. Not that it matters or would be reading this, but she should come with a finite show like Tanhayiaan. Write the story in advance. Plan. Execute. Otherwise it is talent wasted.

Risha I guess, I remember you from IPKKND forum, used to write awesome one shots. If not, sowwie.😳
