Why memory loss?

I am seriously not able to understand why this memory loss track is introduced... if Anika is faking it, she should have a properly reason for it...is she trying to figure out who is behind the problems in OM? In that case is she focusing on it? All she is doing is arranging shivaay's wedding... and after the wedding she will not have a reason to stay back in OM? Then what is the logic behind faking Ml? Over the top of it, she is losing Shivay !!! Till mow she did not figure out who this Dushyant guy is and she is no where close to it.. she is not even trying ... BTW.. the whole world knows that Tia is Shivay's wife then how come no one is asking why he is marrying her again?
