Just like Rudra and Annika, I was taken aback by Shivaay's poker face and lack of a reaction. I mean, this guy was fighting with Tej, about the choice of meeting a girl for an arranged marriage.
Here, Om just went and got engaged to his father's mistress. 🤢 I was nodding with Annika, when she asked him why didn't heget Michmichis with the thought of it. Rudra ranted angrily also, but Shivaay stamped out down, saying " trust me, everything will be fine"
Is it so, that Om has suddenly become another Shivaay, thus the two have an understanding. I keep thinking, that time when Annika went running to tell him, Svetlana was getting engaged, he said, "Who? Bade Papa ?"
I mean who else, right? Or did he know?
It bugged me though, that Shivaay was drawing parallels between him-Annika and Om-Svets . That is just wrong. I disagree with Shivaay, not comparable at all.
Shivaay held her brother ransom to force her to marry him. She resisted but lost. He dragged her through each ritual and then behaved like he made a great sacrifice afterward. She was a worthless pawn, still held prisoner.
Omkara however, just entered the battle ring with the antagonist. To get back at his Dad, and save his mother from humiliation. This guy feels sick to his stomach with the sight of Svetlana, and what she represents to his mother. To get engaged to her, and pay her a price she asked for, is NOT the same as what Annika went through.
Svetlana just revealed to him her motive. "My victory is seeing you and your whole family miserable and broken.. 100 crores is a bonus."
And elsewhere Mrs K also asks Shivaay for 100 crores (whats with the number?) for the unborn baby. After telling him that " your brother already has one toofan entering his life, will he be able to take it if he found out he was illegitimate?"
For a moment maybe he thought, would this new Omkara gives two sh*ts about it? He'd be happy to not be related to Tej ...😆 he hesitated to sign...
But then the angry frustrated duo, Annika and Rudra began their plot to go undercover with the NBs.
Annika looked devastated when he brought up his tired NKK speech again, despite everything they went through together. But today it was amended slightly.
"For me, Parivaar, Khoon aur Khandaan is everything, then, now and always. Where did Naam go? Semantics, you might say. Annika is family to him, make no mistake.
Makes me think he was buying time and trying to keep from giving away to much. But Annika may have been angry enough to decide that she won't trust Shivaay to do what she feels in her bones to be right.
Since she didn't really matter to him after all, why not go all out and nail these criminal women? Feign memory loss, go undercover and catch Tia red handed. Since Shivaay didn't care, why should he be tortured? In fact he can even take the chance to back out of his "Zimmedari" , taking care of her. Since she won't remember anything?
Of course he'll be tortured. OLV indicates that she tries to leave and he drags her back to his room , telling her the room was hers, and her name is Annika. I want to see how he gets out of saying "You are my wife, Annika" when she is rejecting him outright ...👏😆
Execution (the fall) was crazy risky but the next plan was clever. Going off with Tia and Svetlana, undercover is dangerous, but she might get it done. She is not alone, she has Rudra.
