Plenty of drama to start the week off today😆...central theme seems to be that sab Shivaay banna chahte hain😆...first Om, then Anika, then end mein Rudy bhi😆

***.Billu looked all confounded ki yeh ghar ka achha beta uske jaise kyun banna chahta hai...haha...Kunal acted well but Om's character has basically been rebooted to Shivaay 2.0...one good thing though is that he finally seems to have realized that he needs to stop weeping around and actually DO something...lol

The "kaun tujhe" sequence was nice but it seemed more like a stop gap just to get Billu to rest and think...no real emotional follow up...lol...Billu ne thoda power nap le liya Anika ki lap mein and jumped into detective mode.

So he finally suspects a connection b/w Tia and Svet...perhaps the NBs will finally get exposed after all...let's see.

Anika pulled Billu's signature move today of smashing his phone😆...Billu dekhta hi reh gaya...haha...and then scolded her for copying his signature move which only he is allowed to do...told her if she wants to copy him, there are better habits to pick up from😆...I LOL'ed at the way Anika made him back off by poking her finger in his face...do minute mein bheegi Billu ban gaya...

I didn't really get the bit where she was helping him button his sleeve...thoda random tha in terms of a "moment"...lol...but anyways...

Rest of the epi went in the set up for the Tej-Svet engagement...lol given Billu's panicked reactions searching for Om, I'm beginning to doubt if he has some plan with Om or if Om made this plan independently ***.

Rudy is pulling a Shivaay by randomly blaming Soumya for everything...lol...felt bad for her today...waise weird how sometimes she manages to guilt trip him so determinedly and sometimes lets him walk all over her😆

lovely analysis as always, though a bit short, dont you agree😆

true everyone wants to become like SSO, while the great SSO is slowly becoming Shivaay😆😆😆

Om's flip was too soon in my eyes, and far from him becoming SSO version2, Om actually became like Tej today🤔

Billu was acting like a spoilt kid today when he complained that only he has the right to throw phones🤣

Lap scene and button scene, random tha😆... though cute...

and now coming to Ru, that was different, wasnt Ru the one who was always after Soumya whenever Rehaan came, and today he jumped at her...

i understand he's scared but still.. Poor Soumya, waise i was surprised Soumya let Ru go that easily😲

I love how Anika and Shivaay have blended into becoming one unit. Actions do speak louder than words. It is such a pleasant thing to see the both of them being so comfortable with each other. Unlike what daadi preaches, it is my opinion that love and physical attraction are very mild requirements in a marriage. What holds a marriage tight together is a lifetime of friendship and a willingness to depend on each other. Shivaay and Anika are reaching that stage in their relationshio even without trying, and it is heart warming to witness it.

Highlights for me (and in this order)

1. Anika throwing Shivaay's phone and his reaction.

Loved everything he said to her. Don't copy this action of mine... That was the writer trolling us maybe for screaming always that this is his forte... It was so cute. And, did he get a bit scared when she asked him to keep quiet?

2. The Kaun Thuje bit...

What an apt song for such an apt moment. Loved how Shivaay didn't even batter an eyelid about having slept off on her lap. He was comfortable with it.. I had no complaints

3.Rudy's reaction to Saumya

I know, I know. It was a bit hard to watch and so therefore it should belong in the Low's. But no. I am having a bit of a trouble understanding Saumya's recent change of heart, and I can understand that Rudra feels the same way. She was perfectly willing to marry Rehaan and asked him to forget it ever happened. Now, she has a change of heart when he thought he could finally set everything right in his family. Of-course it wasn't Saumya's fault, but Rudy doesn;t know that. I liked his reaction and could understand his side of it.

4. Om's new avatar

I like it, and see that there is a bit of ground work for why he is becoming the way DBO promo's portray him to be. But if they manage to expose TiLana this week (before DBO begins), then I will wait to see what makes him continue to keep his bad@$$ version. For the moment liking it

5. A small mention to the number of dialogues Shakti is getting these days...

6. No Pinky... She is too noisy for me to appreciate / accept / or even deal with.

Lows

1. Not one mention of Jhanvi after the initial reference of Om wanting to be her shield. Yes, I know it is too much to ask. But when Shivaay was sick, we saw nothing else but him. Jhanvi also had a NDE. She deserved at-least some concern and looking after. One small scene would be enough.

2. It is too low for even Tej to have an engagement when Jhanvi is still unconscious and recovering. I know it is drama. But at one point this man had loved her. Didn;t enjoy this in-humanness in him.

Some other references

1. Omkara wants to be like Shivaay... why? Aim for higher I say..

2. Daadi - This one better give RumYa some grief by lecturing them on Ishqbaazi and all now that she knows they are married. She bugged Shivika. Now she better do it to RumYa.

LOL yes it's a bit short because I wasn't that motivated to make a thread today😆...was gonna post my take in the older thread only but then ended up making a thread after all.

Billu ALWAYS acts like a spoiled bratty kid when it comes to his signature quirks or things😆...only time he acts like the adult is when he has to diffuse Oberoi family drama😆...I thought it was funny how he kinda trolled himself there with "Only I have the right to throw phones"...lol such a cartoon Billu.

Re: Om's flip...lol well obviously it's a setup for DBO so ismein zyada logic dhundne ki zaroorat hai hi nahin😆...Gul maata only knows how to make these kind of MLs to Om ko bhi banaa diya waisa hi...I just thought it was too hilarious how openly they made him declare that he wants to be Shivaay😆...technically this "saudebaazi" wala ideology is common to both Tej and Shivaay so😆...only difference is that Billu ne bade dino mein yeh philosophy apply nahin ki while Tej is busy being buddhi ghodi laal lagaam😆

I think there was just so much drama and investigation stuff going on that the Shivika scenes fell slightly flat for me...😆...they were still nice scenes but the heavy drama overpowered everything...that random slow motion shot of Anika running to tell Shivaay about Tej-Svet ki engagement was also so lulzy😆

True, they have steadily developed their companionship and this epi had more of that steady build up in terms of Billu showing that faith in her, somewhat submitting himself to her care in a moment of mental exhaustion and then working with her to deduce clues...

Lows

LOL well we all know how (NOT) good IB is with any kind of emotional follow up...Jhanvi is out of sight, out of mind for now cuz everyone is busy trying to grapple with the rest of the drama...given how there is just no letup in the drama of these people's lives...haha...and waise bhi the actress playing Jhanvi is out so they couldn't show her in any scenes...reference toh door ki baat hai...even when Jhanvi herself was there, she hardly managed to make any difference to Tej's plans😆

Some other references
1. Omkara wants to be like Shivaay... why? Aim for higher I say.. In this show, it just doesn't get higher than Billu😆...he is the full stop to all their lives...everyone's lives begin and end with Shivaay...either loving him, hating him or wanting to be like him😆

Oh wait...just watched that bit last Shivika scene again...just before Anika comes over to him all bhaagi bhaagi, Shivaay was saying on the phone, "Toh ab hum as planned hi aage chalenge"...so who was he planning something with and what? Was it Om? 😆

So he was faking his frustration about Om not answering his phone for the rest of the epi? 😆
