I do understand that it was supposed to depict how instinctually she's fallen into the role of his wife...it was a domestic moment b/w them, there was a flash of awareness from both their sides also...a reluctance to let go...the way they'd linger on holding hands but then Shivaay hurriedly switched the topic to cover it all up😆

It just felt random I guess cuz I'm already tired of hearing the same discussions of "Is Tia doing this? Why is she doing this? What will she gain?"😆

But jokes apart, yes he fell asleep very peacefully and innocently in her lap...you could see the peace stealing over him...he feels soothed in her presence...she gave him that even though he was so determined to be "superman" and figure out the video mystery today only...lol

Oh that reminds me...another amusing dialogue was when she told him he isn't superman😆, but a human being at the end of the day who is allowed to feel pain and exhaustion.

I liked the episode.. Full-on timepass it was..

I really liked the first OBros scene.. 😳 Shivaay thought OSO "phirse..." But OSO toh baatoon se saath saath action bhi lene laga 👏 Even though this transition is sudden, I liked Om ke dialogues.. that he should have been his mom's support system instead of being weak.. Haahaha@ mujhe bhi Shivaay banana chaiye tha 🤣

SSO ke ek haath ko ab SSO ki zaroorat nahi 😆 When Om keep his hand on SSO's shoulder.. SSO ka expression was hilarious 😆

OSO even said "Ab Mein Sab Thik Kar Dunga" 🤣🤣🤣

Should I expect an eye of the tiger scene - where OSO pulls his hair back.. ties them in a ponytail and gets ready for DBO 😉🤣

Anyways, on a serious note, Kunal acted well.. His smirks were fun to watch..

The head-in-lap scene

Okay.. Not a bad scene 😆 Nice editing.. Feelz ka toh pata nahi.. My initial version of this scene was a SSO break-down 😆 But I think this scene was only a reminder that Anika has already realized that she loves Billu 😛Last 2 weeks ke drama mein log bhool na gaye ho, isliye😆..

Billu looked adorable😳 and I liked that Anika sehlaofied his baal.. But I wish there was some more reaction from him - he should have atleast fixed his messed up hair 😆

But I liked their comfort in the detective-giri scene.. 😳 The way he kept his hand behind Anika while watching the video 😳 Mujhe iss thode feelz mile 😛😆

Random: I really liked SC's manicure/nail paint 😆

Shivaay ka detective-giri sounded like a forum post.. Why would Svetlana do this? Why would Tia do this?? Anika ka phone kahan tha?

The cufflink O-Jaana was just tooo random 😆 eye-lock, hand-touch😆 Shivaay is getting soo used to Anika... did not even bat an eyelid when she said CC 😆 Now I want him to call someone KK or CC when he is talking to Anika 😛😆

DAMN.. I wanted a better reaction from Shivaay when he realizes Tia is KK or CC.. 😆 Chalo.. koi na I'll wait for the day when the truth about D is revealed 😆

LOL.. The way Anika ran to tell Shivaay about Svetlana's engagement.. Hahaha... She threw his phone.. Gussa ismein bhi hai.. I like this Anika 😳😆 and the way Billu line pe aa gaya.. Soo cute! 😃

Ab ye Rudy ko kya ho gaya hai 😕Ab Saumya ka kaam bhi increase ho gaya 😆 Anika-Shivaay ka parallel.. Shivaay ne similar dialogue maara Anika ke liye "Ek kaam diya tha.. woh bhi thik se nahi kar sakti.." 😆

I feel this engagement is SSO-OSO plan and that is why Ani-Ru make their own plan 😆

EDIT: Forgot to mention.. SSO called his PI to investigate Tia Kapoor 🤣

That was good, wasn't it? It sounded so real, even to him. He couldn't argue... It felt like at the moment he didn't even want to pretend that he was superman. He just wanted to be human...and she just voiced it out for him... 😳

So finally, we get a OM, who has stopped running from his problems. OM used to live in a alter universe, where truth and love prevailed. Relationship had meaning, place and importance. From the last 2 episode I felt that all his life he was trying to become a very good son to his Mom. Something that his mom can feel proud off. She may feel she had failed as a wife but she should never feel she failed as a mother..

Yesterday seeing his mom burning in fire finally made om to realise that, just being an acha bacha is not what his mom wants. He failed his mom. He failed to protect her, stand up for her, be there for her.

He was lost in his alter world do much , licking his wounds, his pain that he failed to see, how much his mom needed him to be strong and in the present world , fighting the battle along with her. All his life his bother and his mother protected him , now its time for him to take up that role...

So yeah, makers have OM 2.0 in the making.. I have a feeling, he is going to be a much rougher version of SSO.. SSO chose to be what he is, a deal maker, for whom all relationships were a deal..minus his family. He was defined by his character not by any need for revenge .. He was defined by the need to uplift/maintain his family name and honor

But OM2.0 is born out of anger, need for revenge, lost trust in love and relationship.. A shattered soul thatz out there to get back at his father .. This is not his character but against it.. When a person goes against his/her character, it can only bring distruction..

Anyway, DBO OM is ready set to go..

I felt really sorry for Shivaay today.. The opening scene, where OM just walks away, felt like Shivaay lost his brother there. He lost his innocent, sach ka poojari, the accha becha, forever..

shivika "kaun karega" sequence was good.. But it was lacking "FEELZ" 😆.. Makers could have focused more on Annika's emotions than to FB ... Plus I was not very impressed with the FB scene selections either.. Our talented VM makers could come up with sequence for the song (shout out to AY, BW, FAry, Audrey) ..

I guess the idea was to show that Annika is now comfortable with the fact that she is in love with SSO.. no more fighting her feelings and running away from it..

Shivaay was so matter of fact abt finding himself resting on her lap.. Goes to show, his growing comfort level with her and may be to some level his acceptance of her in his life..

I did not get the random, cuff link wala scene, nor why Annika was shown in a gussawala mode..

Role reversal may be? Today Annika lost her cool and shivaay backed down a bit.. so may be to show the total partnership?

Was shivaay talking to OM, when Annika walked in , grabbed the phone ? Shivaay and OM are shown to be keeping some secret from the day shivika found an unconscious OM in the car.. Prinku story?

Rudy is so upset with himself and at the turn of events at home, that like his brother, he is also targetting that one person who is close to ur heart 😆.. He is just following his brother here.. but how much of a Annika Soumya will be is to be seen 😆

This week is going to be a fast moving one for IB.. Only 5 more episodes to go and lots to cover in IB, before DBO can take off..

PS..

I am happy, shivika are suspecting a connection between tia and shewtlana.. Again The PI is tasked with finding more info on Tia.. wht if the PI came back with a clean slate? I tht why we are going to see Annika in the Memory Loss Avtar?

This PI must be building his bungalow off of the Oberoi family detecting income he is earning every week. And ek bhi useful info nahi deta. But this time around, can it be that Svetlana and Tia being sisters will come up? How easy is it, really, to disguise something like that? But koi nai, if at least one thing-- that she does NOT have a brother called Robin --if just that comes up, its a good enough thread to pull on.

And if Tia believes Anika has lost her memory, she wont be able to help taunting and revealing herself in front of her helpless enemy. Everything will spill out, as she gloats while she thinks that Anika is too confused and weak to understand. She might even reveal the Robin-baby thing-- Tia will think no one will believe Anika anyway if she tries to repeat her stuff. I can see one NafratBaaz down, three more to go.

The problem is, I dont see Svetlana being done quite so quickly. Just one engagement, not even a marriage, and she's done with her plans? I don't see how. I think she will be going with OM to DBO. And I wonder what deal Om's struck, that has convinced that gorgeous sashaying snake to choose him instead of Tej. He said some loaded dialogue today--saudaagars make deals and the biggest saudaagar will be him. He has probably made a deal with his heart, name and protection being given on a platter to Svetlana in exchange for his mother and his brothers' happiness.

This makes me sad. Its such a dirty sauda for a man with such a clean and pure heart. Is it worth it, him taking this hit to the heart? I don't know. We always say Om has had it easy, and he has. His brother and mother and in many ways, his ability to compartmentalize and be selfish has given him a life of ease he didn't deserve. He says that himself today, so for me that was growth. But in contrast to Om-Svetlana, Shivaay has made bigger deals, and given up on bigger happinesses for his family before. Shivaay literally faces down bullets for those he loves (Gayatri's first one, aimed at Om, then Rudra at the club, and now Anika). Om is taking a bullet to the heart, metaphorically.

But at least this will lead to Tej's ego going tai tai phis. Tej wont be a victim to Svetlana to again. And, he will also know Om couldn't have attempted to rape that witch if she's slithering over to him and marrying him and being all smirking and pleased by the younger one she got. I hope she says some mean terrible things to Tej about how old and unattractive he is in contrast to his virile, handsome young son. Janvi deserves at least that little victory. Tej will NEVER forget this one and I hope Pinky is there to hear it so she can gloat, too. More the merrier, I say. Ass.

I just hope Om isn't too damaged, but I fear he will be. And I know we think this is sudden, but I don't see how. he has been indulgent for a while now, and ashamed of it, the other shoe had to drop soon. Someone on this thread said it best--when you go against your natural character is when your actions destroy you the most.

I don't see how Om can become Shivaay, actually. Shivaay is naturally cold and naturally ruthless. He's always had ice in his veins, without any trauma, provocation or outside influences making him this way. All his life he's had money and power, his family who adore him, even a few decent girlfriends. The coldness and ruthless cruelty in him --that has been there, throughout. He is truly Tej's real son, with just his brothers keeping him somewhat human all this time. Anika fought with the original Iceman. Even now, she's got herself a man who thaws only for her, but is the exact same person he's ever been, to everyone else.

But this change will lead to a rewritten Omkara. Om would be destroying himself, completely, if he is ending up with Svetlana even for the short term. His beliefs are based on goodness, truth, love and loyalty--all elements she is singlehandedly the anti-thesis of. Putting on the icy, deal making SSO mantle would be more damaging for Om, since it would have to come at the expense of his principles, beliefs and nature. And it wont get better-- living with Svetlana is enough to sour anyone, and it might be the "obstacle" to him and Gauri later on.

Lol!! I am laughing at my state because I had no wifi and could watch the epi only now!!😆

So, it was a fairly good epi for me!! 😊

The epi starting with Om pulling a 'Mein sab theek kar doonga' and becoming SSO wall 2!! I liked the slightly unhinged smile that Om gives while talking so serenely!! I used to like Om in the beginning, I thought the character had a lot of potential till he was reduced to just shouting "Mr Tej singh Oberoi' at random moments later on in the show!😆

The tablet scene had me smiling!! Ani's dialogues were genuine though so much of talking him into taking meds was quite unnecessary considering what a hypochondriac the man used to be and literally takes meds like M and M's!! But then again, maybe he was too stressed at the time so she had to baby him...😳

And the kaun tujhe was a bit rushed for me but I got some feels from the subsequent cuff link scene and all mainly because of the whole comfort level that they share now on a day to day basis.She is a part of his routine. Shivaay doesn't think twice about the way he acts around her, both of them don't measure their words, she has merged into his life as easy as him breathing now...😳 And this was the guy who once told OmRu that he liked Tia because she gave him space!! If the whole memory loss thing is not his idea, we may get to see a broken/crazy worried Billu for some time!!

So glad that Billu finally put his thinking cap on and wondered if there was a connection between Swetlana and Tia!!😛

So Ru is slowly becoming Angry Young man #4 in the house...only Shakti is left( But Pinky makes up for that so no complaints there!! I liked how Ani can calm atleast 2 of them, her hubby and her devar! Om, in his new avatar, I think only Gauri and his mom can handle !!

Liked how Billi shut Billu up...so cute...and she seems to be learning from him, breaking phones which Billu thinks is his signature Achi aadat!! I dunno what their kids are gonna break when we eventually come to it!! 😆

Rumya ki blame games! Ru was being a jerk but I think he is terrified and angry and heartbroken...so will excuse his behavior for today!

Dadi continues to annoy giving the same heartattack expression when she says mangni as when she says Talak!!I am wondering why she hasn't kicked a fuss about MS and pheres to Rumya yet!!

Tej is so disgusting!! Wonder why Jhaanvi put up wth him for so long! I am sooo waiting for his FTW expressions when the love of his life gets engaged to his own son!! 😆

Random kostins!!

1.So why was Ani shown running like Paro for like 2 minutes of the epi?!! Was it for the drama? Or just bad screenplay??😆

2. Why was Swetlana dressed in that Godawful yellow nightmare!! No wonder she bought a new engagement costume!😆

3.Did daadi learn all her Ishqbaazi lectures only now!! Because she should have given some gyaan to her sons before shifting all her focus on her grandsons!!

4. What is Tej going to address Swetlana as after the engagement?? Bahu?!!😆

I felt it too, but for another reason. Shivaay loves both his brothers... but while Rudra is the innocent one whose innocence Shivaay always wants to protect, Om is the emotional and sentimental (and in a way needy) one. Shivaay is more concerned about Om's reactions always, because he is the most emotionally vulnerable one. But today, all of a sudden it felt like Om grew up.

Shivaay who has only known protecting both his brothers today kind of lost one of them. It may be good in a way because Om may become that wall that Shivaay is. It will help Shivaay relax a bit. But it will also take Shivaay some time to get used to this new Om.
