Momma I swear I started sleeping during that scene.😆 Mujhe kuch Alag nahi laga. I was actually pissed that she interrupted shivika ka conversation😆

I just hope they give us some light hearted moments henceforth. Drama is very heavy right now...Thoda fun toh ab banta hai. I miss that ib used to make me laugh 😭

Yes...the context...we use different words in different contexts depending on the situation and the mood...doesn't mean the effect of one expression goes away wen u say the other!😆

You know what guys??? SSO is not at all confused about anything, this is how he tackle things, he's a very very intriguing character and I am glad among other disasters of IB when it comes to it's characters this one is not one of them, he's flawed yes and we criticize him for that to pour out our frustration, but the fact remains that he's like that, and he realizes too, but all that is always shown in a very subtle way, which is very beautifully shown, he has changed but he does not even want to admit that but that's shivaay singh oberoi, also he's going through many turmoils,fighting his own demons, anika,his mom,om's truth now what has happened to sahil recently is also added to his injuries and also what pinky is doing to anika, all this is taking a toll on him, the change is that he never knew or believe that something like that would happen to him , for him everything is possible but what is happening to him right now particularly after his marriage, life has totally changed has brought troubles and ofcourse happiness too when he wants to feel it and it happens when he's totally lost in anika.

I don't like when people say about forgiving him, well they have their own povs, but I think there's nothing to forgive for, when it comes to his character because he's like that.

He does not want to disappoint anyone, particularly his mother,
the family is his pride, anika is part of this family, the family is
his first priority he's their great wall of sso and he wants to protect
all of them, all the oberois are treated with love
in the family except for her and he wants to make anika's equation
better with everyone, so I think the word zummedaari when sso
uses it, I think being used for everyone in his family
not just for an individual, he's not being called great
wall of sso without a reason.
That's my take!!!

Been reading a lot of posts, everyone is entitled to their opinion... but I think Shivaay needs to be cut more slack.

As for the volte face about zimmedari...what do you expect. He is tadibaaz SSO after all🤣

For him actions speak louder than words. Taking a bullet for Anika. Telling everyone that it's Anika's home too. Clutching her hand even while hugging his mom. Asking for her first thing as he wakes up.

He is in a sticky situation himself..attacks are being made on his family members. Anika is in danger. He took a bullet. Svetlana is on a rampage. Tension between Om and tej. And to top it all ...his mom is in distress and against his wife. His wife too is in agony.

My verdict is that both Shivaay and Anika need a vacation.🤣

Anyhoo one thing irked me. The dadi scene which was completely pointless and irritating. Her lectures about Ishqbaaazi🤪 and the fact that we don't know why anika decided to come back. And what Shivaay said or did to make that happen 😉

And the writers need to clean up the plot and clear some loose ends. Some tracks are being dragged which is unpalatable. Otherwise.. nothing is deterring me from shipping this couple...rooting for them. Nothing will.😎

And I agree...they need a vacation...a respite from the high voltage family drama and the 2-3 murder attempts on them on a daily basis 😆

How I wish, Shivay surprises Anika by blindfolding her and kidnapping her and taking her on a surprise mini vacation even for a day!

Dying to see some lovey dovey moments!😆

I was not as much irritated by Dadi...I found her tolerable over Pinky! What they have done to Pinky's character disappointed me big time...coz she was never this level possessive/crazy/insecure ! 😆

Dadi did make sense in few of the things she said to Shivay so I liked it actually...but yeah repeated use of Ishqbaazi word should be toned down !😆

I had actually wished to see an emotional, heart touching moment between Shivika that makes Anika come back with him but alas! I guess we should get used to such broken scenes now and assume ourselves, aisa hua hoga waisa hua hoga 😆

Regarding open tracks, like I said yesterday...I guess with DBO coming, IB will get more time to close all the loose ends and take on one track at a time than making a Khichdi!😆

I agree with everything Rowdy but regarding Naam Khoon Khandaan thing, my thoughts are a lil different 😆

I actually believe Shivay's beliefs so much that the day he stops being Naam Khoon Khandaan wala SSO, I might find a disconnect! I don't want him to leave his ideologies and change completely!

Only thing is, he should stop judging people on the basis of that! But he has always maintained that Anika is different...Anika ki baat alag hai...she doesn't come into his beliefs anywhere, she is an exception to his beliefs so I don't mind if he looks for a Khandaani girl for his brother or a Khandaani guy for Prinku, coz that's what every/most families really do!😆

And so agree with his subconscious mind being into play...that's when he utters what we do not expect and surprises Anika and all of us...I am kinda sure, his acceptance of her as his wife and even his confession might be most unexpected !😆

I Completely Agree...the best TV Hero to be ever seen, atleast for me! I don't think I have ever fallen so much in love with any other TV character so much as much as Shivay!

He has so many shades to his character and such a layered character, delight to actually watch him and true, tired of chocolate boys, Bad Boys ka zamana hai 😆

I loved how u put it in @bold...theirs is no less than a fairytale of its own kind! <3 😆

Yes Neha. I hate that they did this 360 degree change to Pinky aunty's character. She was perfectly grey. Her obsession with wealth and affluence in order to compensate for her dysfunctional marriage and lack of status in the family. The only thing redeeming her being her love and loyalty for Shivaay.

I personally feel that the makers realized that the Nafratbaazes aren't working and they are experimenting with this. And in a way they are using Pinky to mouth all those prejudices that Shivaay had regarding Anika in the beginning.

I think his obsession with NKAK still remains...and it would be weird if it passes away too soon. That would be hard to digest. It's an essential part of his personality.

But I feel that he has delineated Anika as being an exception to the mould. He has seen her integrity, loyalty and strength of character first hand. He sees that she cares for him, his family.

And it means the world to him that she stood by him in bad times...I remember the scene where he said that...and he said that with such awe and wonder. Because it's a big deal when a person stands by you during troubled times...and Shivaay knows that. He is someone who has seen all shades of people...and be must be knowing that such staunch loyalty and integrity is hard to come by. That's why he clings to her and gets antsy when she isn't nearby❤️ inadvertently she has become his emotional wall of support that he leans on, and he cannot survive without that.

And Anika as a person resonates with him so much...her love for Sahil mirrors his love for his brothers. She is the mainstay of her family as he is for his.Despite class differences she is his mirror image in many ways. And she is also his foil because she calls him out when he is wrong and makes him better...vice versa for Anika because as Shivaay pointed out yesterday she should not be crying 😆 they bring out the best in each other.

And the upcoming scene where he suggests that to doubt Anika would be like casting aspersions on Shivay Singh Oberoi. What else needs to be said...he sees them as one entity now...a team.

I still maintain that it was overwhelming for him to see his mom in that plight. And that Anika had to pay and face his mom's wrath and become her punching bag. He was so upset when Anika had to sneak in to see him...that too at a time when he desperately needed her. And I can't get over how he held Anika's hand while hugging his mom and reiterating mein sab theek kar doonga. ❤️

In his heart of hearts I think he wants his wife and mother, the two important women in his life, to get along. That they don't, pains him. But the way he struck a balance and was careful not to upset either was endearing...though I did feel that he was biased towards Anika because he knew that Pinky's allegations were unfounded.

Bang on post, Neha! And this especially "he is a man of actions more than words" is so true. Right now his actions are indeed speaking louder than words, but he will eventually get there with words too. They can't show everything sorted in one day na😆 Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai😉
