i'm excited about the scene but i'm not excited about what is going to come after that... anika is in for some real painful heartbreak and rejection. See to me, rejection hurts but I can get over it better if the other person doesn't have feelings for me. But if the other person does have feelings for me but doesn't think I'm good enough for him, that just hurts so much more. You start to feel very little about yourself and the helplessness you feel because of this just makes you feel...defeated..
