LOL Gul has pulled a lot of shit with her previous shows, no doubt but IB is a parody on it's own as this pregnancy track is proving right now too...all the tropes are turned on their head...the heroine isn't MU-ing the hero or shedding tears over him having betrayed her with some other woman...the hero is showing solid doubts about EVER having slept with the vamp...there is no cringe-inducing scene showing us vivid details of the hero sleeping with the vamp trying to trap him...already toh kitna kuch different kar rahe hain...aur baaki sab comedy mein nikal jaata hai😆...

Yeah but problem wohi toh hai na!! She has this past jiske karna log usse MU karte rehte hai..Kabhi bhi apne characters jaise palti maar sakti hai ye!! 😉

IB ke liye you need to really adjust your expectations AY, warna dekhna and samjhna mushkil hai.. It is one of its kind. Alag hi genre hai yeh.. 😆

Lmao to that I might add I love how Shivaay is not made invincible like other Gul heroes. He has many chinks in his armor, be it being socially awkward or accepting of the fact that even though he has the "I am Shivaay Singh Oberoi blah blah blah" chant that all her heroes have, he is accepting of his mistakes.

Often in her shows I find even if its the heroes mistake ghoom fir ke she ends up showing him to be a victim in the end.

Ok I'm gonna shut up now this is like Gul Khan bhadaas now. Lol but yes, additionally, I love how he has no shame publically being like I've never slept with my fiance of 3 years and whatnot. While his ego is fragile, his masculinity is not, the latter of which I find rare in Gul Khan heroes.

Today, despite the ridiculousness of the whole premise of the guy's sex life being casually discussed in front of his entire family...Shivaay surprisingly managed to handle the whole thing with a strange kind of dignity...lol it was unusual to watch, to say the least😆...He stutters and gets awkward about so many other things but the one thing he didn't feel the need to stutter about at all was the discussion of his lack of a sex life with his gf of three years😆
