I've always been a silent reader, and enjoyed all of your posts. But I had to comment today. Even watching the episode didn't give me the feels your words just did. So beautifully written from Anika's perspective. Thank you!

Thank you for reading always and finally finding something worth commenting on in my posts!🤗

@bold: this is the best compliment any writer can ever get and if you felt it, I am so thankful!

I missed the poignancy of this scene in the episode because of the drama around it.. I had to re-watch it to get my Feelz..
But your post 👏👏👏 As usual ahmazing!! 😊

These 2 lines...
"So she smiled when he reassured her, more for him than for her, knowing he couldn't see her.
She smiled for him because even now, he was still that man, who thought of himself as an immortal protector of those he wanted to protect, and he wanted to save her. "

" those lips that had hurt her with their cruel words, so at odds with his eyes, those eyes the colour of melting glaciers, "
Aah The conflict 😊 Whenever they show the conflict, the scene always wins my heart..
His eyes do remind of those glaciers 😊 & I love this comparison 😊 Silent but destructive - when there is imbalance within and around them 😊

Thank you darling!!

I know I know, the conflict makes it so much more layered to watch, isn't it?

Which is why I used glaciers, they look SO so smooth and delicate and absolutely peaceful, but conceal more than they show, and can destroy in a moment

Absolutely.. as if, the rest didn't matter if she could have this moment with him, just the two of them, imperfect halves of a perfect whole.
And then, I had a slight sense that she was also kind of easing away his worry in the scene, smoothening the worry lines on his face, like he could sense it in some form or the other, and when Daksh called him, he became aware when she moved away.

I so adore their scenes that have this quality in them...it's just so satisfying to watch when these two GOOD actors manage to portray all these complexities of their characters perfectly

Awww...yes there was definitely that sense...what was striking was how in the middle of that nightmarish moment also, these two managed to be in their own bubble for a bit...He couldn't even see her yet it felt like he could, the way he was talking to her, felt like he was right next to her and not miles away...and she was watching him silently, with that smile...as if silently reassuring him by touching his face that she is fine...and even though she didn't say a word, it felt like he could still hear her reassurances TO him even as he was trying to reassure her...

And that bit when Daksh interrupts to take her away, it's like the moment shatters and the DESPERATION in both of them to hold on...Shivaay's, "No No..."...then him hurriedly asking her where she is...and her tearful last calling out of his name..."Shivaay...the location of the place...and the unsaid..."come find me"".

It's just quite striking that they manage to deliver these scenes/moments of the divine connection these two characters share beyond the endless lulz we enjoy on a daily basis😆
