CHAPTER 5
The party continued for long, as all the guest who attended were family and would be staying in the house for the night, except Sundari.
After the party was over, whatever amount of money Sundari asked from Shivaay, he just gave her as a gift. For him this was no big deal, but it would definitely make her happy. And even though Anika never consider her any family, that wouldn't change the fact that she at least had someone other than baby Sahil, in life, and that was Sundari.
Anika- Shivaay, aapko na pata nahi hai ye aurat kaisi hai. Inki chikni chupri baaton mei na nahi ana chahiye!
She didn't like the fact that Sundari took money from Shivaay.
Shivaay- Anika, unka aur hain hi kaun tumhare aur sahil ke alava? Hmm? The money is not a big deal for me! Chota amount hai but dekho unhe kitni khushi Hui!
Now all her anger was gone. He was so kind. He wasn't like that, but she changed him. She actually felt proud.
Anika- Haan thik hain, thik hain!
Shivaay- Waise OmRu kaha hain?
Anika giggled.
Anika- Aur kaha honge Shivaay? Om Chutki ke saath aur Rudra dev unki Devi ke saath. Waise sabse baat toh mujhe karni hai!
Saying so she gave a naughty smile to Shivaay, and he knew what exactly she wanted to do.
Rudra and Soumya were inside their room. Fighting as usual.
Rudra- Ei Sumo, uss Rehan ne phirse call kia tha kya?
Soumya- Kyu baar baar puchte rehte ho? Pichle 3 mahinose har hafte 2 ya 3 baar yehi question karte ho! Par mera jawab nahi badlega Mr. Dumb Singh Obero!!!
Rudra- Pati se na...pyaar se baat Karo! Uss Rehan se tum dur hi rehna!
He was warning her. But just when she was about to shout at him for annoying her, Shivaay and Anika entered their room.
Anika- Hi Soumya! Hi Rudra! Kaise ho?
Soumya- Jee Anika di?
Anika- Itna fight karte ho!!! Tabh hi toh main bolu, Shaadi humse bhi pehle huyi, par phir bhi good news kyu nahi de rahe ho!
Shivaay couldn't stop giggling. Soumya was blushing, and was also embarrassed.
Rudra- Kya aap bhi Anika bhabi. Isse Rehan se fursat mile tab na!
Shivaay- Eyy, shut up. Aisa kyu bol raha hai? Agar kuch problem sach mei hain, toh phir baat kar aur sort it out? Don't keep each other hanging!
Soumya- Ye hamesha aisa bolta rehta hai! Agar main Rehan se kabhi bhi milungi, I will definitely tell you Rudra. Kyuki mujhe pata gain, ki chupnese amare bich sirf misunderstandings hongi!
Rudra- Sach?
Anika who was standing and just listening now broke her silence.
Anika- Muuch! Aur tumhe bhi. Pati patni ke beech mei na shak nahi hona chahiye! Kuch bhi maat chupana, warna rishte kamzor par jate hai. Haina Shivaay?
Shivaay was lost in his own thoughts. What was he thinking? Anika kept a hand on his shoulder.
Anika- Shivaay?
Shivaay- Yeah?...ye...yeah!
Rudra- Thank you Bhaiya bhabi!
Soumya- Bhabi baby ka kaam socha?
Anika gave her a naughty smile, and winked at her.
Anika- Wo baad mei hoga! Par hume bhi tumse good news sunna hain Soumya!!!
Rudra- Bhabi...hum toh khud abhi bacche hain...
Shivaay- Yeah sure! Wo Tia ne kaha tha na ki wo mere bacche ki Maa banne wali hain? Usne agar tera naam liya hota na, phir zaroor Oberoi Mansion mei enter kar sakti thi!
Saying so he started laughing and soon realised what he had done. He turned towards Anika and there she was standing still and just looking at the floor.
Rudra- Eww bhaiya. Wo Lady Baba se mein aaj bhi 50 kadam dur rahu!
Anika- Umm...ah, tum dono raho, hum chalte hain.
And she left with waiting for Shivaay. And all the three knew what had just happened. Shivaay then quickly ran after her.
Anika clearly still didn't like Tia. She hated her. After all that she had done, Anika could never forgive her. Lying that she was pregnant with Shivaay's child and getting all cozy with him without even bothering about Anika being his wife, putting blame on her for Robin's death even though it was Tia herself who committed the crime.
Shivaay- Ani... Anikaa! I am sorry baby! Main bhul gaya tha...
He said holding her hand and stopping her.
Anika- It's okay. Koi baat nahi hai!
Shivaay- Umm...Anika? Tia...usko kabhi maaf...maaf nahi karogi?
Anika- Apko kya lagta hai?
Shivaay- I...I don't know...
Anika- Shayad mujhe usse kabhi phirse milna hi na pade?
She wasn't actually in the mood to talk about it but Shivaay was just about to say something when they both noticed Om and Chutki walking together in the corridor and talking.
Anika- Ommm!!! Chutkiii!
She shouted loudly, and scared them both. They both were embarrassed to be found together at this hour of night walking and talking to each other.
Anika- Hmmm! Kya hmm??
She pushed Chutki slightly. Chutki was blushing.
Chutki- Di..di dekho na Wo...ye Om mujhe Chutki bula raha hain!
Om- Chutki ho tum! Toh phir kya bulau? Anika?
He looked at Anika.
Anika- Haan, Chutki, Chutki, CHUTKII!
Shivaay- Okay enough! Kya hua hain? Itni raat ko tum dono eksaath kya kar rahe ho?
Anika- Aapko kyaa? Shadi se pehle aap bhi toh Tia ke saath raat raat to bahar jaate the na? Phir?
Shivaay- Ani.. Anika? Tia kaha se aagayi?
Anika- Aap hi ko toh yaad aarahi thi na uski?
Anika was stuck on Tia. Again. Shivaay didn't know what to say. However, Om and Chutki realised that they had been talking about Tia and had been fighting. Chutki didn't see Tia, but had heard about her from the rest of the Oberois.
Om- Anika, tum thik ho na? Stress maat lo! Shivaay kyu Tia ki baat ki? Yaad hain na usne kya kya kia hain?
Shivaay- Yaar...Om, main... I don't know. Just...
Chutki- Di it's okay...Tia abhi nahi hain yaha. Don't worry. Aur...aur what do you mean by shaadi se pehle? Meri aur... Om ki shaadi ki baat thodi hi na chal rahi hain!
Shivaay- Chala denge! Don't worry, kyu Om?
Om- Umm...Shivaay you will have to pay for this year! Seriously!
Chutki was again blushing. Just to ignore the awkwardness and by seeing Anika troubled, Om took a step towards Anika and continued.
Om- Anika! Stress Maat Lo. PLEASE! Just go and get your sleep! It's already 1:50 a.m.!
Shivaay- Chalo?
Anika left for their without saying another word. Shivaay silently followed her.
Anika was sleeping and Shivaay was sitting on the sofa next to the bed. Anika got mad just by hearing her name, without even knowing that she was now employed under Shivaay. He thought. Then how would she reach when she would get to know that Tia had gone to Sydney with him? And that she was working under him for more than a month?
Just then, his phone rang. He picked it up. Anika was still in her sleep he noticed.
Shivaay- Yes Tia?...Niche?...Kyu?...Par iss waqt?...Umm..its okay no problem...Yeah!...I am coming down. In the lawn? Bye.
He cut the call and looked at Anika again. And left the room and the shut the door behind him. But the sound of the door being shut woke her up.
Anika- Iss waqt kaha ja rahe hain?
She got up from the bed.
Shivaay went to the lawn to find Tia. The woman who once accused him of impregnating her without marriage. The woman who only wanted to marry him for his money. But now she was his employee, who was in need of a job.
Tia- Shivaay! Ye rahe tumahe files.
Shivaay- Thanks but iss waqt kyu? Kal bhi toh de sakti thi?
Tia- I know, but Shivaay maine socha ki, Oberoi Mansion bhi dekh lungi iss bahane kyu subha toh nahi aa sakti hu na. Sab dekh lenge?
Shivaay- Umm... Okay?
Tia- Waise tumne kisi ko nahi bataya ki main tumhare saath Sydney mein thi?
Shivaay- I don't think it's important!
Tia- Oh, Anika ko bura lage ga! Hain na? Doesn't she know ki main tumhare saath 1 month se bhi zyada time se contact mei hu?
Shivaay- Yeah! Maine usse nahi bataya hain.
Tia- I will leave. Bye!
Tia quickly ran away. Shivaay kept on saying everything without even realising that Anika was standing right behind him and listening to all this words. Just then he felt a hand on his shoulder and realised what he had done. He turned his head and saw Anika who was crying hard, without making any noise.
