No true fan would want them to quit. But the main point is---Is standing in the BG doing anything good for their careers? Especially when they themselves are not satisfied with it? This is a tough industry but i believe true talent speaks for itself mostly after one discounts for nepotism and favouritism.

But if they stay here , bound by contracts , they wont be able to grow as characters or actors.

There was a reason why Karanvir Bohra didnt do the cameo. He was offered the lead role in EK's show.

Also this is no SSK where the 100 family members stand around S and watch her battle evil. Those actors had made peace with the fact that this was as good as they would ever get.

But KuLee didnt sign up for this. Had they been happy , i would have never raised this point. Meanwhile obviously i am a nobody and i can never tell them to do anything. Its their life and they know best.

That being said , this industry loves to typecast people and actors. Once somebody gets the tag of sidey hero , they hardly ever get good roles unless they are best friends with the show-makers.

This I agree. I have seen good actors get typecast because they did particular role for long time.

I 100% agree that the industry is tough and we should never tell people to quit their job, it is their choice. But sometimes you can see when someone is either staying in a show for years when it turns to utter crap or taking step mother treatment from show makers when they should not.

I hope they DONT quit. Frankly, whatever the makers think, Kunal and Leenesh are two BIG draw cards on this show. The show promoted them as co-leads. If they leave this show will have a gaping hole. Gul Khan may not care, but she might just get a rude shock that not just her faves were being watched on this show. It's probably what she deserves for lying to them and the audience. What is so damned hard about coming up with a "Balanced" show that is not all about her rude arrogant hero, or her bubbly heroine who gets ill-treated by said hero, but continues to come back for more?

Now she has the classic Vamp and the Psycho as well. In ALL this, where is the space for the brother story? If she had promoted this show as "Rehash No 5 of ALL my previous shows", hardly anyone would have watched it. Because she is strongly disliked by a good portion of the audience for her arrogance and her uncaring attitude towards her actors and her audience. She has a few favorites and she continues to support them and treat the others with her dismissive attitude. Personally, I think Kunal and Lee can do better, and I hope they DO get good offers so they can move on from this show if it is not serving them.

But I would never tell them to quit yet, as there is STILL potential for their roles, but only if Gul and her writers give them their due. Leenesh himself said in an interview with Neha that the writers don't know what to write and that if they "get the chance" they will give the audience more. Him being SO frank indicates that things have deteriorated a lot. The same thing happened in IPK as well where the actors playing Akash and Payal quit coz by that point they didnt even get any lines after playing second leads with a meaty track before. But they were Second leads not "Co-Leads" or on the banner or on the Promos like Kunal and Lee were. So imagine how they feel when they have to be reduced to side characters who just give "expression shots" and pretty much stand around? I think they need to confront GK or complain to the channel. They need to do something.

Because Tia and Daksh are NOT even parallel characters and they are getting more importance than people who were promised lead roles. I wont even discuss Neha, but she has been equally cheated. Gul Khan is the biggest Vamp of all!

I have stopped watching this show. After reading the article about KuLee sickness I am sad about their health. I will be glad if they leave this show as there is nothing for them to do in this show. Their role is worse than even cameos and villains. I think even actors are confused that what is the purpose of their presence in this show.

I love kunal and he is too much talented to get wasted in this show as sidey. Just like vrushika happy to get new offeres and project after exit, Kunal will also get new possibilities.

It is 1000 times better being stuck in a show which use him as wallpaper. But if contract exist for 1 year then they have to stick up to that time. This is the first show in which I am happily welcoming the idea of my favorite to quit. All credit goes to gul khan.

I wish and pray that KuLee get well soon and do best for their careers. Either stay or quit as a true fan I will always wish best for them.

So is Gul replacing them? As if she will find anyone better for the roles? BIG mistake. But since QH, she thinks replacing actors is a joke. So I wont be surprised if she tries. But this is one time it wont work because the characters of Om and Rudra are not your typical arrogant guy characters and the nuances they brought to the roles will be hard to replicate! If she is actually thinking of replacing them I pity her!

Rudra and Soumya were getting a lot of good comments and traction and she right away shut their track down. Now it's like they are not even on the show. Om's track is also abandoned. He had a lot of fans and at the start of Ishqbaaz when I mostly silently read comments, I saw the craze for his character. But Gul didn't seem to like anyone but her favorite rude arrogant male lead who doesn't seem to even have a real reason to be so, getting any attention or praise? So quickly Om started to get less screen space and even his FL was kicked out. She does realize that Omkara, Rudra and Soumya as well are on HER show, not on rival EK show? 😕

Leave aside any emotions. I am from a business background, so I will speak business. It makes sense to pay attention to your audience and also to what they are saying. Your customers are king. If they like something and praising something you also give importance to it. Not discount it and ignore it. So from purely a business standpoint, it's good to deliver the "Produce that you promised". Or else it becomes false advertising. People even get sued for it in the West. Suffice to say that if you promise something, then at least TRY to deliver it. Instead of being rude and obnoxious to fans who ask valid questions, give them a straight answer. Stop lying to audience and misleading them and stick to your word! This comment is for Gul Khan not you.
