Weird Camera Frames

I'm a new viewer of the show, mainly pulled in by the Shivay and Anika story.

Does anyone else find the camera frames on the show odd and distracting. Many of the close ups have the actors in the corner of the frame and the background takes up most of the screen. I find it very distracting. Not sure what exactly they are trying to achieve with it. The live actor should have our attention not the static background.

Also, Nakul seems frozen with one expression (in the past 2 weeks). Is it the current storyline or the character that is triggering this? Or is it the actor (haven't seen this previous work). Don't kill me if you are a fan, just trying to understand the dynamics of the show from more seasoned viewers.

you are absolutely right... not just the frames, the focus lights too are very distracting... And in some of the episodes editing is pathetic

I am so happy to see this post.. I thought it was only me..

I find lights odd.. frame angles odd... actor entire the frame from no where..

It is like theater type setup... and yes Editing breaks off sequence.. suddenly they are dancing suddenly he start calling his sister to know where she is .. not links ... many many filler scenes

I agree ! they use flashing lights a lot and it hurts the eyes. Granted the subjects on screen are gorgeous and some shots are gorgeous but sometimes they have weird angles. Sometimes the whole screen is empty and the actor is in the corner cut off.

Don't forget the choppy sound editing. Its like a novice is playing around with the BG music, using Windows Movie maker. Sound editing not good. O jaana tune rudely cut off by dramatic music, then abruptly back to O Jaana tune.. 👎🏼 .. People are listening with headphones and its glaring..

So true! The use of spotlights sometimes totally blinds me and can't even see the characters (example in that scene when Shivaay sees Annika in his sangeet dance). And yes I have often wondered at the camera frames too. I haven't understood the reason behind it.

About editing, it just sucks.

I completely agree.The editing is very Poor! Specially those spotlights...they are very annoying and ruin beautiful scenes instead of making them look magical! Also the music editing is badly done.. songs/music is just cut and used on the scene...We see vms how the song gets faded in the end..Does GK or her team even watch the epis? Its very annoying when bad editing ruins a good scene...The Galiyaan sequence editing was too bad! I think even the news channel editors do a better job 😕

I think the editor's have forgotten to extend the scenes and actually Complete each action. it's super strange and very random.

I agree, they are using lights that kind of reflect, sometimes the actors are not even visible and its kind of distracting.😕

Urghhh... those spotlights in the background... 😡😡😡 I hate them... i just turn my head off from the screen...

Ok it looks like the general consensus then. I posted the feedback on the urlremoved facebook page and Gul's insta account. Let's hope its considered.
