See the way I see it, he wouldn't even convey his thoughts about her so openly to her face if he truly believed Daksh's lies. He would just be on silent mode and wouldn't bother asking or clarifying anything. So even now after circumstantial proof laid by Daksh, he does not really want to believe that she is capable of doing something like this (at heart, but his mind has accepted). And this is because of his NKAK that has pushed his mind over the edge to believe Daksh's lies cuz Daksh happens to be khandaani and Annika isn't. He believed Daksh for his own good because right now that would strengthen his morale for marriage with Tia and help him in repressing his feelings for Annika.


About the bride running away, I know he's only doing it to save his family honour. But if he could conjure up a khandaani bride in 2 minutes from the wedding (and she's run away), what's stopping him from just finding another one in time? 😆 And no matter what the circumstances, SSO would never marry a non-khandaani girl...upar se characterless. Not even to save his family honour. So that's why I'm leaning more towards thinking he's marrying Annika forcefully for that slap lol...but let's see. This shall be cleared with the upcoming episodes.
