Gul's inability to show quality content

I remember being interested in the Supernatural track when Mahira (the lead) had a special power and infinity sign on her back. And the male lead (Azaad) was kinda like a vampire/werewolf who couldn't control his power.

There were so many expectations with the tracks. Gul could have played something so interesting, but she ruined it by adding a witch who does black magic to woo Azaad. Like that's all his powers were good for?

I'm not going off track, but I feel like she's doing the same with this show. There was so much potential, but it is just getting washed away into a typical love story.

As you all know, there was the drug track, Om's mother possibly going back into business, the Gayatri thing, Roop, the conflict between Shakti and Tej, Ishana.

It makes me sad because I want to for once be able to say that one indian show is good to watch to a non-indian.
