It was a dark night and the water was pouring from the heights. It was raining badly along with the winds blowing. Not a single soul was visible in the road. Only the droplets hitting the ground nd the rustlisng of the trees were heared.
A figure was walking aimlessly on this stormy night. Body trembling and tears streaming down. When its raining...cry as much as u can...none can figure it out. Thats what she was doing. She usually cried out in the rain. Unable to take the pain she fell down on her knees nd screamed her heart out. Her head was bent nd she was crying vigorously.
"Why? Why do u do this to me always?" She asked looking upwards at the black sky.
"Whoever i have loved have always left me. Why? Dont i deserve to be happy at all?" She shouted.
"Y did i love him, when i knew he could never be mine. When i knew that he would never accept a girl like me in his life. Why? Why? Whhhyyy?"she vehemently screamed.
"How dare he think so cheap of me?"
Now she cried her heart out.
A pair of hands came and touched her shoulders. She looked up nd her eyes widened.
"Enough didi... u have cried a lott. Now get up and come home." He said while trying to hide his tears.
"Saahil. Hw u came here?" She asked.
"I have been looking for u everywhere..until i found u here. Come lets go. Nd dont cry."
"R u hiding ur tears?" She asked him looking keenly into his eyes.
He looked up at her surprised.
"How did u know...even though it is raining?" He questioned her innocently.
"Cause i see myself in you." She answered caressing his cheeks.
"Ya...i thought that if u see me crying..u will feel bad nd cry more..thats..y..." he said looking the other side.
She was dazed at this child. She hugged him and her tears started rolling down again. He caressed her head nd hugged her back tightly...
He rubbed his hands on her back to sooth her.
"Saahil...y does this happen only to me. I want to hate...nd i have every reason to hate him...but i cannot. But he thinks that i want to snatch Tia's place? Hw did he think like that. Bhaggad billa. He cant hurt me evrytime like this. He just cant." She sobbed in his tiny arms.
"Let him go didi...dont give him a damn. Nd dont cry for him. If he too feels the same for u he will turn back to u.. nd if he doesnt.. just leave him to his fate. He doesnt deserve u didi. Love the one who can make u smile..even when u r about to cry...not the one who snatches ur smile away nd let u cry." He said.
Anika felt that he was right somehwere down. She pulled back nd looked at him.
The small child was her reason she lived. She earned. His smile would make her day. He helped her at her most difficult times. She never cried before him... but he reaches at times when she feels alone nd needed support. To assure her that she is not alone nd he is with her. Infact he was her strength. Her courage. Now she felt relieved. She felt lighter. He calmed her paining soul.
"Its ok..u dont need to thank me.. well stop crying now...u r my heroine right...nd my sherni didi doesnt cry." He said wiping her tears.
"Nd it doesnt suit u much. U look funny when u cry u know like this..." nd he made a face that made her giggle. They smiled together.
She hugged him once again, before they got up and left holding each others hand protctively.
She had made up her mind to not waste her tears anymore,
Only the rain knew her secrets...she had hid it with it safely.. cause she never opened up to anyone..not even Saahil.
The rain had witnessed her pain after a looong time. Pain had chosen her from her birth. Nd she chose to fight over her pain. Nd the pain was only shared with the rain.
Well i seriously dont know what i ve done... i was missing this bro sis soo much..nd this crashed onto my mind. Nd i felt that Anika should lessen the burden in her heart..
