THE OBEROI POOL CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE AND OTHER SUCH MUNDANE MATTERS - theory: (Shivvay's P.O.V.)
I most certainly need to put a sign up, till Daksh is a house guest at the Oberoi Mansion, that the 'pool is closed for maintenance until further notice'. Him doing this 'free willy' style back flip in my private pool is just not acceptable. The pool is for my private use only, and HER in it with me of course.
It is one thing to see HER wet and looking like the Goddess 'Venus rising from the Sea' in my pool, and just withing arms reach, and quite another to see a grown man do the same.

The image of a wet Daksh with his clothes clinging to his body has, I believe, scarred me for life. Aaarrrhhh! I need to hit the erase button and fast!
The trauma of this image in my head It is too much to bear. I swear if it ever happens again I am going to ask Om to share some of his 'mind altering dope' with me. The pills that Tia got me would not be strong enough to deal with that kind of painful experience.
(Shudder) ... that was definitely another tremor of 'mich-miches' running through my whole body now and this one on a richter scale of 7.
And yes... I also need to ask the 'cute Mishra' to arrange to bring some circus nuts ... errr! I beg your pardon, I meant nets, to the Oberoi Mansion in order to keep THIS NUT from going fruity on me again. Hanging from my upper floor and that too with his shoes all over my Italian balustrades and handrails is not OK at all . The audacity of the guy!! Humph! How unclassy and crass.

MY SHATTERED DREAMS ( AND PHONES) OF MAKING THE MINOR LEAGUES BASEBALL TEAM: - theory: (Shivvay's P.O.V.)
It was my one dream, since I was 'little Shivvay', to make it into the Minor League Baseball Team in our school. When I went to Harvard I carried this burning desire and dream with me but alas! it was not to be. No matter how often I practiced my throwing on the field, I was always told I did not have a good 'arm' for it. So I decided to practice outside the field in order to strengthen the arm at every chance I got ... Papa's phone, Bade Papa's phone and even Badi Ma's phone just so that i could develop a good arm but it was of no use. When mum realized the reason behind all the phones lying broken around the house she was very encouraging and understanding. She gave me the best gift 'a boy with minor league dream' could have - a lifetime supply of cell phones to replace any damaged ones. She explained to me that the passion with which I would throw a phone I owned would be way more than throwing a phone that belonged to someone else. That would always ensure a 'good arm and a good throw'.
I am thankful till today for the very sound and logical advise she gave me and even brought her a weighing scale last year for her birthday as an encouragement for her to lose weight. I know how serious she is about her weight problem. I am proud to say I get my no nonsense attitude from her

HOW TO LOSE A GIRL IN 10 DAYS: - theory: (Shivvay's P.O.V.)
It was amazing to see how difficult it was in that movie for 'Andie Anderson' to do everything possible to make the guy break up with her in 10 days? I know they say that it is very difficult for one to do anything wrong in the eyes of the person you love. But asking the person who loves you to marry your best friend must be on the top of the list of "how to lose a girl in 10 days'.
Well the 10 days suits me fine as well as that is when the 'D' day - no ... not Daksh Day for crying out loud ... my wedding day is set for.
Another way of losing HER would be standing there, after you have proposed on your friends behalf, waiting for the answer.
The scary part, while you are waiting, is the change of expression from disbelief to pure rage that you see on HER face. Coming close to being smacked hard across your very handsome face by your would be wife is, putting it mildly, a very terrifying experience. This day seems to get more and more difficult and I think I will need a shrink very soon if it continues down this path. I must ask Tia to pen HER in for an hour of 'Aura Cleansing' - no expenses spared.

I know now what it must have felt to be a herbivore and stand before a 'T-rex' in the late Cretaceous period. I thought I was going to have my head bitten off clean by HER, without even feeling the pain of it separating from my upper body. I am glad I was introduced to this terrifying side of HER and will store it away mentally for the future. I realized that I had stopped breathing only when SHE had walked away from me and my breath came out in a gush. Whew! that was a close call. I am going to kill Daksh if SHE kills me.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE ... THAT IS THE QUESTION: - theory: (Shivvay's P.O.V.)
Sigh! what a relief ... she did not accept the proposal but wait .. she did not refuse it either? Dang! that pony-tailed charmer is absolutely right. Should I be worried ... or not? That is the question.
Nah!!!! it's all good. This is HER we are talking about. Mistress of her destiny, career woman of today, independent and focused, brilliant and gorgeous, doe-eyed and silky haired, dazzling smile and skin like ... ahem!!! control your thoughts man!!! You are losing it and fast.
But then again ... I would have to keep an eagle eye on HER so that SHE does not fall prey to his sweet ways and smooth charm. I mean as HER Moon it is my job to shine light on how distasteful the situation of another vying for HER attention is. It is most undignified for a would be Oberoi-bride to swoon and gush over a few romantic gestures. It is very important that SHE learn self-control and that sort of thing you know ... After all SHE is for 'my eyes and pool only'

I am unwell and supposed to sleep woman!! But I open If for one last sneek peek and I see your updated post !! I love you for this!! Seriously brilliant stuff!! Free Willy was one of my childhood favourites and so I wont ever use his name for Daksh!! Seriously, Ani was angry today wasn't she but I expected a lil more anger to be honest!! And I loved the way you said that she was for Shivaay's eyes and pool only!! Seriously I have always felt that their pool scene is their best scene so far!! The rest of your post is hilarious!! Seriously lol right now!!

How apt the lyrics of that song are right now for what Daksh has in mind for today. How can one become an expert on a deep, complex and vast subject like HER in just a day? The man obviously has no regard for, and idea of, what he is dealing with here and is going to 'crash and burn' in the process.
No one, sensible that is, gulps down a aged, full bodied, fine wine that has taken years to develop a a unique bouquet? That would leave you without the whole experience of the beautiful thing that has taken years to perfect. You go through the important steps to first look and admire like you would a masterpiece,then tune into HER senses and moods to understand HER inner being, once that is done you open up 'your' sense of smell and inhale the very essence that is HER which wafts in with the breeze that brushes past HER and ends up surrounding you in a heady scent.

And this, my good man, takes months of dedication, attention to detail and an obsession almost to the point of worship, to even begin to fathom the wonderful thing that is HER.❤️

Now see a wise man like ME, who has become a connoisseur of HER, knows HER thoughts , words and silences as well. You might say I have a Ph.D. of sorts in Annikaology and I am so in tune (no pun intended with reference to the song) with my thesis that I can even feel the vibrations and energy emitting from the source of my subject matter when SHE is somewhere in the vicinity.
You really mean to say you have achieved this in a matter of 24 hours???!!! I think you need a reality check and fast. Propose marriage to her - humph! Of all the ridiculous and foolish things

I need to ask Daksh to brush up on his botany (which he always failed in miserably at school) with special attention to the genera of carnivorous plants.
Of all the crazy things a man would be delusional to do, this by far would be the craziest, if it was someone like 'Xena the Warrior Princess' that one was talking about carrying off. Don't be fooled by the soft, sweet and innocent doe-eyed looks that SHE gives which make your heartbeat race 200 to a minute because it is a mask that hides the very headstrong and fearsome warrior that lives caged within HER.
Like the beautiful pitcher plant HER beauty and sweet smell, putting it very mildly, are tempting and irresistible to the prey who is unaware of how deliciously dangerous SHE is. Only an expert,who has mastered over time how to keep his 'heart and mind' in total control around her, will be able to evade the pull that would draw him to her depths and drown.
Sigh! And since I am his childhood friend I guess the task of discouraging him from falling into the 'pitfall trap' becomes my responsibility. Why am I surrounded by morons of late???!!!

Dang!!! I am pacing up and down my expensive Persian carpet so much that it is starting to look threadbare. I swear, if I do not put a rein on this childhood buddy of mine who goes off gallivanting all over Mumbai with a marriage proposal and having heart to hearts with HER I will have to start taking out all the carpets from Oberoi Mansion soon. At this rate I will even have to forgo my daily jogs around the block at the risk of over exercising. This human defibrillator is going to be the death of me one of these days.

And what can I say about HER, my favorite girl-child, all the beauty with brains and SHE lets me down. So far the only ESP connection SHE has tuned into between HER and ME is feeling my presence while I am right behind HER. Humph! I still need to pry the answers from HER to the questions SHE should already know about. I mean, as my soul-mate with the ESP connection, I really should not have to spell it all out to HER. I will have to spend more time in a week or so, after we are married, to help HER hone those skills. SHE knows how I hate expressing these things like ordinary people do and has to tune into this frequency we have between us asap.

I mean even my sarcasm just slides off HER!! It is very adorable and cute but immensely frustrating as well. SHE really thought I take the Calculator Singh Oberoi name seriously enough to ask HER the 2 times table. Ah! My innocent and nave little Pannika, you are a woman after my very heart. What am I supposed to do with you??!!

I am confused. Is SHE is offended that Tia's predictions were right or that I am always confident about MY predictions? I know SHE was upset about one of the two but which one was it?

As for Tia, the girl spent her time in London perfecting that Reiki art. There is no need for HER to feel inferior to her. I mean SHE has her many talents as well you know that SHE can be proud off. Like never missing the mark when SHE throws water at your face, teaching you to have lightening reflexes by throwing cow dung at you (don't use the word gobar') and of course the one I admire the most- HER baseball swing. I can never swing the bat at just the right angle and with the right force so that the windshield shatters into a million pieces.

As much as I admire these gifts SHE has, I would have to discourage HER from continuing to use them once SHE is an Oberoi. The finishing school with Priyanka should help HER channel those to more Oberoi-suited talents.

Asya !! Brilliant as usual!!

Poor Billuji is well and truly trapped in love with his multi talented fiery warrior princess!! His caging about like a wounded cub and him demanding answers to unasked questions was hilarious to watch yesterday!! Shivaay is burning in his own personal hell and confusing his lady love like crazy too...And yesterday, I think was the first epi where Ani had her Shivaay sensor on as well, even though she was clueless about what exactly he wanted to ask her!! And that handhold!!❤️
