THE BIG BANG - theory: (Shivvay's P.O.V.)
This sliding past my would-be-wife, just so that I would not be in the direct path of collision once again, is just a glimpse of how much I am in tune with her small eccentricities even when I myself am on a very important business call with the 'cute Mr. Mishra'. He has earned this title thanks to my obsessive daydreaming about the woman who orbits my very world because she makes me feel like I am the center of hers.
She is cute hence Mishra is cute - he somehow ends up on the phone with me while I am either thinking of or looking at HER. Rudra/Annika logic I know but hey! whatever works to remind me of her as a part of my life.
It amazes me to see how engrossed she is in her thoughts about work that I even mentioned that to Tia. She is single-minded in her dedication and focus to any task she takes up. It is definitely an admirable quality even if it means she did not notice me in her direct path. It is was amusing, to say in the least, to hear her conversations with herself but endearing as well.
What was even more surprising is that my EGO seems to have gone on an extended vacation off late and my steps do feel lighter and airier. Is that what cloud 9 feels like - I wonder??!!
THE GOSPEL TRUTH: (Shivvay's P.O.V.)
Besides, if SHE says you grow horns if you do not knock your heads together again then it is written in stone - no matter if it is what kids in the kindergarten believe as the Gospel Truth. There is nothing that she does which is unreasonable and her facts are backed up by the Vyad (doctor), school master and numerous others from her neighborhood. It is unnecessary to bother your head to confirm these things as SHE knows for a fact they work. See! proof! I have not grown a pair of horns yet.
THE DEADLY WRIST LOCK: (Shivvay's P.O.V.)
It is almost certain that in times that I am distracted and my heart is troubled I put HER in the deadly jujitsu wrist lock. It is painful for HER I know but also for HER own good. See if I didn't do that SHE might just drift away from my immediate orbit and that would be painful to ME. Lets just say SHE is the blanket that makes me feel safe and looked after. After all it is HER fault for clucking over me like a Mother- Hen at all times. A man can get used to and even crave for that kind of attention you know??!!
It was not my fault - SHE started it and now I cannot kick the habit
