His eyes looked bloodshot red. She had never thought from this angle. She should have known. Closing her eyes and cursing herself wouldn't help anymore. Kabir had been there in all parties and he had known whenever she was out with Robin. How could she not think of what hell would have broken loose if he thought Robin was cheating her. Ofcourse, he had been always protective if her; even if her dad had made her capable enough to protect herself.

He burned with anger. One, he had never seen anyone fooling Ishana. Two, she was not of the types who would easily fall for anyone's charms. Robin had appeared normal to him- from a decent family and handling their business- or so he had assumed. He knew Ishana didn't much believe in love etc. But to have thought that anyone would even try to betray her, who was almost like his sister; made him very very angry.

She didn't know whether to laugh on her stupidity or cry on her son's fate. How proud she'd been and how much emotion had she invested on the girl who stood saving another guy! Pinky couldn't bear turning into a laughing stock.

'Agar abhi bhi sharm bachi hai tujme, toh nikal ja yaha se'

'Not so easy Mrs. Oberoi. Ishana ko dhokha dene ki koshish krne wale ko main itno aasani se toh nahi chodunga!'

He was about to resume his hitting.

'Kabir; he hasn't ditched me, infact the opposite has happened'

For Kabir, the story very much ended there itself. He should have thought that Ishana might have been behind this to save the Oberois. Anyway the chore was done and the truth was out. But before anyone could react or say; the sound of claps echoed in the otherwise pin drop silent turned hall.

'Wow! Ishaana, kya kaam kia hai tumne? Tum business mein kya kar rahi ho, you should have been an actress.'

'First, she saved his brother, thanks is the least she expected. Second, his anger did not make sense at all.

'Excuse me, Omkara, what do you mean?'

'Their faces had turned red in anger. No one, not even the elders dared to utter when the fight was on. Rudra facepalmed himself and looked at a sorry faced Soumya in anger.

'May be, maybe I should thank you to save my brother. Ofcourse you did that. Ofcourse your intentions were good. (He moved closer to her). But in no case Ms. Ishana Sareen, you have the right to play with someone's feelings- be it a person like Robin or Tia'

'You know what Omkara; this (pointing her index finger at him) is the problem. You see the world as black or white, which by the way is not true. So stop judging people and try to understand the situation. Pray tell me Om, what do you think we should have done. '

'Omkara burned with anger. He felt cheated. The amount of thought he had given on his friendship with her. Even the friendship seemed to be a lie. Shivaay couldn't understand whether he should interfere or not. Kabir wanted to intervene but was stopped by a-not-so-pleased-looking Mr. Sareen. Kabir understood that even Abhijeet didn't approve of this and hence, remained quiet

'I know the situation as much as you do. You came to know everything through some person, right? You could have proved it to us. You could have told the truth but all you chose to do was: to play woth someone else's feelings. And what are the situations when you need such dramas Ms. Ishana Sareen?'

'WATCH IT OMKARA! You have no right to point out my character!!! Ofcourse, what should we have done , huh? Tell everyone that Tia was lying and you have believed. Really Omkara? That too on Anika's saying. You don't know your family or you are pretending not to know because this is apparently against your ideals.. One, the allegation would have come from a staff. That too a girl. What do you think a proud Pinky aunt would have thought! Or do you want me to spell it out.'

'What she said wasn't wrong but how was he supposed to trust a girl so smart in playing with emotions.

'I did not mean to point out anyone's character. But trust is a big thing.'

'And I second him in that, Ishu'

This voice left her shocked to core. In all these years, her dad had been her strength. And he had always been a proud and loving father.

'Wow! Om! Well well then, perhaps, you are right. Perhaps, I am the one who is wrong. The first time my dad goes against me is today. I will remember this, always.'

She didn't want her dad's explanations anymore. That he can go against her was too much for her to take.

He knew he would've to do the talking but before the Sareens and his beloved brother, someone else had to be taken care of.

'So Kapoors, aap khud jaenge or should I call the security?'

'Shivaay...'

'Out Mrs. Kapoor'

(The Guest house)

'Ishana, tumne mujhe meri baat puri nai krne di'

'Aur bacha kya hai dad?'

'Ishu! I know ki tumne jo kia wo galat nahi tha (She looked at him with the oh-really-dad look) magar logon ka vishwaas bahut kachha hota hai; I know it's me who has made you a smart liar and I've used the lies but gain someone's trust, it's okay to play yourself down.'

She smiled as she understood what he was trying to say. She had lied, and it was her duty to gain Omkara's trust. That is wy she oved her dad so much; he would make her se the point inspite of her bad temper.

(the main hall)

'Sab tumhari wajah se hua hai. O aur ishana di ki itni bari fight hogyi.'

'Wo Rudra..'

Even she found herself guilty. She should have stopped getting tensed over what Shivkara and paid attention to their aim.

'But tum bhi toh kuch kar skte the na, mje lost dekh ke.'

'han han, mje toh aur koi kaam nai tha. Bas ye dekhna chahiye tha ki soumya ji kab lost ho rahi hai aur kab mai unke kaam karta phiru'

'Huh!!'

'Huhhh'

(In front of Anika's house)

She waited for his thanks as always and nothing came out as always.

'Ap thanks bol skte hai'

'Kis liye muje almost heart-attack dene ke liye?'

She made a face and got out of the car; who was she expecting a thanks form but Shivaay facepalmed himself. She didn't even understand that he was talking about Daksh- she was for sure gonna call a huge problem on herself.

(The gardens near Guest house)

I should have known ki tum yahan aaoge'

Kyun; you expect me to apologise?'

Nahin but...'

But I should Ishana. Muje lga tha ki hum ek doosre ko samaj skte hain; ek doosre ke dost ban skte hain. But.. perhaps, that was wrong. Tum ne thik e kaha that I only understand black and white.

Why did this guy had to make everything so damn complicated. A simple conversation would have ended it all but who could end his panchatantra ki philosophies! And if he really felt that they couldn't even understand each other, trust was out of question.

He avoided her questioning yes for what he was saying was out of disappointment. Only if she understood

You are right Om, perhaps, we should confine our relationship to pure business. Would help you as well as me.'

F*** , this was not what she had to say; she had to convince him but he doubted their understanding also; trust she would have understood but this was too much for even her to take.

(The pool area)

Universe ne humari baat sun li'

While the youngest Oberoi was busy dancing; he noticed the disappointment in the artist's eyes. Shivaay gestured him to shut up .

ye saari galti na Sumo ki hai. O, we actly wanted to collect a strong proof and then tell everyone.'

ShivKara exchanged glances. Perhaps, they knew why Soumya was tensed.

Tum logon ke iss faltu plan ke siwa bhi problems hoti hai logon ki life mein. Bechari Soumya ko bhi tang kia. Galti Anika ki hai. Usse khud pe aisi problems nai leni chahiye. Agar Mrs. Kapoor ko pt achal jata aur wo use hurt krti toh?'

Shivaay! Pls! Anika ne jo kia wo tujhe bachane ke liye kia. Tu manta agar wo kehti ki Tia jhoot bol rahi hai. Aur kitni baar toh usne prove bhi krne ki koshish ki. Galti sirf Ishana ki hai kisi ke emotions ke sath khelna. Tune dekha tha na Robin kitna shocked tha. Aisa laga ki use phir dhoka mila hai.'

Arre O! Aur koi tareeka nai tha, Tia ke baare mei sach dhoondhne ka'

SHUT UP RUDRA!'

It was only times like this when Rudra would get really scared of Om. It was as if his third eye had opened up and his volcano erupted. Lies and liars were something he could never bear. Ofcourse, he was also angry on Rudra for such a plan.

Om, calm down. Kapoors jaise logon se sach nikalwane ka yahi tareeka hota hai.'

NO SHIVAAY! I do not accept this. Jhooth sirf jhooth hota hai. And I do NOT trust people jo logon eke emotions ke sath khel jaate hai.'

His eyes had grown wider as he spoke. The brothers knew that he had developed something for today's liar and that was the sole reason of his anger.

O ko unki jhooth milane ali mil gayi'

Mili kaha, milna toh abhi baaki hai'

Rudra's mouth opened wide seeing Shivaay smirking. He had seen how serious their fights could be. SHivika had been easier to handle but IshKara- bhagwan bachaye! He will have to do something and that to soon.
