Om's character was more on his issues with Tej and his mother which was being developed, before the love track.

I mean the characterization was about Shivaaye's with his brothers and Om with his parents, Rudra they were keeping it under wraps

His love track was equal and parallel to Shivika, but then first they had to remove Twinkle and then people did not like the Ishana track, so it couldn't grow equally

Now when all the love stories were to take center, Om did not have a girl, and she couldn't have shown Om in the back ground at a time when the stories of other two were at the peak as all the teen kisse needed to be parralled. I think due to this reason, Gul was herself confused on what needs to be done, in such a situation, when suddenly Pari reminded her of Om's drug past, she got an idea from Om's track

If Gul can create Om, she can handle him. And Preet no character attributes are made for passing reference, especially if the character is one of the protagonists. Like Anton Chekhov says, if a character hangs a gun on the wall in a story, be sure that he will use it. Drug past was given to Omkara so that they can use it for a track.

Gul she get angry n defensive when ppl ask her abt Om then write essays abt d track bt women why cant we see that in tv?why only in Om's case its all talks huh!watch an entire circus for one min of repetative OM scene hadd hai!

I agree Phoenix. Bt I trust Gul. She definitely has something up her sleeve for Om. Om is gonna be the best character of Gul till date

It is not like that in soap operas Lachu, for example they made a reference that when Shivaaye was in 12th standard he was so angry that he cut off the hairs of Om. If you go by this, it seems that Shivaaye was having a much upper hand over Om since childhood, however soon they started showing Shivaaye getting defensive on seeing Om's anger, or else they told that Rudra started speaking at the age of 4 and we felt that it was something unusual but they forgot this. (I can give examples from other shows as well, but that is not allowed), in soap operas, they generally seem to forget the things they had shown earlier. My mama being in this industry, I understand a bit about it, and post coming to Mumbai, I am seeing this pretty clearly

@Deepu, that exactly my point is, since day 3 or 4 you all were demanding for the drug past, but Gul did not feel that important and hence did not pay much heed to it. Fortunately, Pari made that comment when Gul was online, and at a point she was thinking about a track for Om, when this idea clicked her. Obviously the fact that all of you had been asking about it for months, made it pretty more clear to her that people would like this track and she went for it.

I am not saying that Pari was the cause of this, but she was the catalyst with you all being promoters (I recalled the chemistry lectures from class 5)

Till now we all have talked about possibilities only. I trust gul but still her all talks goes in vain if omkara is not on screen . Tia boyfriend secret if get screenspace then why not big issue of omkara, ridhikara breakup. Sometimes I get fed up of hopes, faith and gul words. If he words will not be shown on TV then how will fan believe her. My issue is only that she can atleast give him few minutes of screenspace. since the start to till now I think the biggest issue for om fans is individual screenspace. Om can be shown with jhanvi, tej and others . no-one is asking for female lead.

I agree dear. They are giving Ridhikara a very secondary treatment as compared to ShiTia, but you have to accept that Shivaaye is the main and Om is secondary, so his tracks will have some lesser importance, even in the bro scenes they only discuss Shivika.

Anyhow any clue did Ridhkara breakup happen today? Any OmRu scenes
