If gul om ko aisa hi invisible rakhegi and sirf assurance dete rahegi to fans kaise believe karaenge. And what about general audience? They may forget that om exist in show as important character.

That was a very passing reference and I guess it was said to show that Shivaaye has supported both his brothers, Rudra by parenting him in the childhood and Om by taking him out of drugs

Om's character was more on his issues with Tej and his mother which was being developed, before the love track.

I mean the characterization was about Shivaaye's with his brothers and Om with his parents, Rudra they were keeping it under wraps

His love track was equal and parallel to Shivika, but then first they had to remove Twinkle and then people did not like the Ishana track, so it couldn't grow equally

Now when all the love stories were to take center, Om did not have a girl, and she couldn't have shown Om in the back ground at a time when the stories of other two were at the peak as all the teen kisse needed to be parralled. I think due to this reason, Gul was herself confused on what needs to be done, in such a situation, when suddenly Pari reminded her of Om's drug past, she got an idea from Om's track

At least I think so
