Yes Rachu true that, even earlier Om said to Rudra that bachpan me tujhe sikhaaya tha na or humaari duty hai isko sahi aur galat ka fark sikhaane ki etc.
Even when Om asked Rudra to apologize to Sumo Rudra said "aapko raub na mujhpar hi chalta hai" although that was not true as he did force Shivaaye too and finally got him approach Anika (although Shivaaye couldn't say sorry), but his line made it clear that Om forces Rudra to do whatever he feels is good, and Rudra follows that
Thankfully Om is there or else Shivaaye could have spoiled Rudra to the core
