Why is the FL always like this?

Please don't misunderstand I'm bashing Shivaay as a character. I just don't understand how the ML can hold a grudge, which most of the time is based on either a mistaken belief or purely ego driven for months, but the FL forget so easily after actually being wronged?

It is natural that she feels something especially since Tej and Shakti haven't done anything to her (minus Tej's accusation, but in his defense it was Shivaay who put it out there). I can understand her feeling bad for them because it is a terrible situation. I'm not saying she should be heartless, but at the most all he deserves is a "Ah that sucks! Hope everything works out for you."

But tossing and turning all night? I mean what did he do exactly for her to lose sleep over him?

Stopped taunting her about status? Call her cute? Hand her a towel? Call her family?

Take her side after Tia's obvious freak-out? Said take care?

There was the kitchen explosion, but they are even since technically she saved him too.😆

Seriously though, I would have appreciated that scene more if she was thinking about Dadi (actually anyone, but Shivaay would have made more sense). Or show her being worried about the CD being leaked, but nope she was only thinking about him. I cannot understand how at this stage that she manages to talk to him civilly let alone worry all night and morning about him.

The fake snake scene let us know that on a subconscious level she is attracted to him as well. He's hot, smart, passionate, and he takes care of his family (and he cooks!). I get it We all get it. I just wish she would just enjoy the view without being so emotionally invested in him and his family. Can't she just do her job and leave? Can't she do other catering jobs on the side to earn more money to pay the debt and give herself something other than the Oberois to worry about? I really want to see her detach herself from their lives and worry about her own. Poor Sahil I feel bad for him.

She hopes for a sincere love, but I'm supposed to believe she is now falling for a man who can't even say thank you to her. As viewers, we know that (1. He is a good person 2. He will change for the better both for himself and for her 3. He will eventually become that sincere love she was hoping for) but right now it is too soon for her feel anything other than annoyance and mild attraction.

I see where the writing is trying to go with the whole "she is family" thing. He thought so lowly of her before, but now he considers her one of his own (ie on his level). The problem is I don't buy it, not yet at least. Yes, he has had his moments, but that is about it. He is still the same person literally nothing has changed (not his personality, not his misconceptions about poor people, not his views on women, not his views on life, not his views on love, not his ego). This makes perfect sense to me because how can we expect someone to change so quickly. I just wish her character would remain as realistic especially she has more reasons to be wary of him.

On the other hand, I can see why he would fall for her and is falling for her. It started out as attraction, but the more time she is around him, the more he see the real her. His is not a bad person he just focuses on all the wrong things. Everything he assumed about her turned out to be wrong and it is causing him to warm up to her. Honestly, his behavior is rushed as well, but it makes more sense because we see how it went from attraction to slowly acknowledging her good qualities. With her, all she sees is that he has another caring side, but I don't think that's enough considering everything that happened between them in the past.

As viewers we have to wait months before the ML's misunderstanding is cleared so why can't the FL be a little less forgiving and take her time as well. I guess I'm petty, but I was hoping she would remain indifferent for longer.

i think there can be 2 reasons... firstly she has always seen shivaay a different and great man with his family.. who cares loves and stands up for anything against his brothers... what he was towards her was more on a superficial reason and i think she has given back to him everytime he has tried to put her down.. but she has seen the other side of him too..

second reason is that shivaay has transitioned from his most rude self to her to the nicer side of him in the mean time.. she has seen him change to the guy who she noticed with his family.. i think the recent times when he shared his heart out to her in d party and then called her family and saved her etc has surely made her connect to him..

i think we all at some point hate someone but when they mellow down to u then u do tend to let go of the hatred too.. but in annika case she also has some feel of connection...😳

I completely agree with u and ur points r completely valid. But the problem is with Indian audience. They always want a selfless female lead who cares about others before her. That's why Ishana's role is scrapped bcoz people can't accept a selfish female lead. To be honest Anika is'nt a realistic character. I hardly find any flaws in her. I really wonder why will she even care about Shivaye who has tortured and insulted her so many times. She should care about Dadi but definitely not about Shivaye. We all know what happened when we showed Ishana as a less forgiving heroine. Viewers just don't accept it as they have created an image of a saint for the heroine.

The problem truly lies in the mentality of some viewers especially the TRP audience.
There was a time when actresses were acceptable only if they were 'hanji', 'nahi ji', 'thik hai maa ji' types.
People used to bash them if they said something justifying their POV and were called 'tez zabaan' or 'sarr pe charh gayi hai ladki'.
So it they either used to be the sweet bahu who used to save families from the problems or they used to take years to finally speak up if the show was lucky enough to last that long.
Now, most people don't like the hanji types of girls so now we have female leads who are outspoken but still that thing of being angry or the self respect thing is something is which is not widely accepted if shown over a long period.
In real life, no Annika would forgive a Shivay Singh Oberoi this fast but then, that's what has been the tried and tested formula over the years and none of the producers are brave enough to challenge it.
For example take the case of Ishana.
She was good at heart but was a con woman.
Some people (again I won't say most) who are very vocal about their feelings made it clear that they don't want a positive, grey lead and the producer didn't want to take any chances and chose the easy way out.
What she didn't see was that some did change their mentality and were ready to accept a grey lead and there would be many such people in future.
I'm not talking about the ones who were not Vrushyy fans and couldn't connect with the character because of less screen time but the ones who didn't want to connect because she was not white.
The same people carp that why Indian television doesn't match the American TV standards.
I hope that explains the question.
Just my POV.
No offence to anyone.
