In last episode Dadi said marriage is about takkar ka rishta.
I don't know I might be wrong but I think marriage is all about working together and making adjustments for each other. I m not saying that always females should compromise in their lives. It is the duty of both partners that they welcome each other wholeheartedly and accept each others weaknesses. but still i m against the logic of takkar ka rishta. I think marriage is all about adjustment because you love someone and you would like to change little bit for him or her. Please let me know about your viewpoint, I might be wrong😳

Takkar ka Rishta means complimentary; a marriage based on equality, not on one person dominating the other. Instead, both partners should have an equal say in all important decisions.
What Tia does not have with Shivaay. Shivaay doesn't care about her opinions, only dismisses them, his own take priority in his life.

But with Anika, she gives him back as good as she gets, there is full commitment between these two, even in every argument they have, in every interaction they have.
A relationship of equality.

Takkar ka rishta means equality regarding respect and dignity of both partner.. both will have the equal right to express themselves... We all now that husband and wife have have different roles to play in a family but they must be equal in their rights. I think u have misunderstood the term takkar..

I truly liked all the ways Dadi explained how a marriage should be - equality, both spouses playing a role in shouldering the responsibility for its success etc. I don't think she meant all things are equal, but an equality that allows each spouse to contribute and still be a person in their own right.
I also loved how she said, old is not in one's age but in how one perceives life & if educated mother-in-laws couldn't understand, who could...

But the best was Omkara, what each spouse gives up for a marriage to work should not be viewed as a sacrifice, it's each of them committing to the marriage and doing what needs to be done to make it work.

Awesome episode!

Takkar ka rishta simply means that no partner will have the upper hand, both will be equal in all aspects. :)
Ps. Dadi only said this so that it hints to our couple AnShi ;)
