So actually Soumya comes across a crying Rudra when Shiv was admitted in the hospital and she consoles him and ties her brothers sacred thread on his hand. It so happens that Soumya meets Rudra in college and try to approach him but he ignores her and pretends to not know her because she is fat and he didn't want his image being tagged with a girl like Somu first Somu thinks that her change In appearance compared to the day he met her may heve made him not recognize her but later she learns that he is shallow minded and only gives attention to specific someone's like the size zero girls. Funnily Somu turns to be the grandchild of dadi's friend that dadi had invited to stay over until she studies😊. Hope it helped
