Hey, RuMya fans, I am in awe with the Rudy boy and the Sumo's nok-jhok (though it goes overboard sometimes) Anyway, here is my first Os on RumYa. Not sure if anyone has written a similar story before.

"I miss you Bhaiya," She said and cuddled the blue teddy closer to her heart. Resting her head on the soft toy's head, she let tears escape her eyes. Hearing a knock on the door, she wiped her tears and said, "Come in,"
Rudra entered the room and looked at its state in shock. 2-3 ice-cream bowls lay on the floor, paper and photographs here and there and Soumya sat near the bed with a teddy bear in her hand. He sighed and smiled at her.
"You ok?" He asked. She nodded. "Can I stay alone?" He stepped out of the room and closed the door in an answer.
Soumya had dozed off for some half hour when she heard the door flung open. She woke up with a jerk to look at Rudra, who was smiling cheekily at her.
"Rudra, kaha naa, leave me alone," She said sternly and looked away. He went her and made her stand by pulling her arm. Anika entered the room with a smile on her face.
"Soumya, neeche chal, iss Rudra ne kya harkat ki hai, dekh!"
"Di, mujhe nahi aana,"
"Please," Rudra said making puppy faces. Anika too followed the suit. Soumya, respecting Anika for being an elder, nodded her head and stood up. She also couldn't resist Rudra's baby faces. She walked out of the room and the trio came downstairs. Soumya was surprised when Rudra blindfolded her. Before she opened her mouth to speak anything, he pushed her to her right. Not knowing what to do, she walked quietly. Finally, she smelt clay.
"Hum Bade Baal waale Bhaiya ke room ke paas hai kya?" Rudra replied in positive. She heard a door open and stepped forward.
The blindfold was open and she was surprised to find herself in a dark room. The lights were suddenly flashed on. She closed her eyes to adjust herself to the bright light. When she was accustomed to it, she opened her eyes, to look at the decorated room in shock.
It was decorated with blue balloons and white curtains. There was a cake placed on the table in the center of the room. Shivaye, Omkara, Priyanka and Daadi stood near the table and Rudra and Anika held her hands and led her to the table.
"Happy Birthday Major Viraj Rathore!" Omkara said with a smile. All the others in the room saluted immediately. Tears trickled down her eyes and she smiled.
"Happy Birthday Bhaiya," She said and smiled sadly.
"Aaj ke din bhi udaas kyun ho rahi hai? Aaj toh tere Bhai ka birthday hai!" Daadi said and came to her. Soumya hugged her and burst out crying. The elder lady ran her hand on her back to calm her down.
Rudra, "Paagal ladki, main toh O aur Shivaye Bhaiya ke Birthday pe party karta hoon aur yeh Sumo dekho! Huh!" He said. Soumya broke the hug.
"Tum nahi samjhoge, duffer Oberoi."
"Toh samjhao," Rudra said and looked in her eyes. She felt butterflies fly in her tummy. Looking down, she smiled.
"Cake toh bada tasty lag raha hai, kaate kya?" Anika said, breaking Rudra's trance.
"Tumhe khaane ke alaawa kuch nahi sujhata naa?" Shivaye retorted.
"Haan Soumya, jaldi cake cut kar," Priyanka said, before Anika spoke.
Soumya nodded and held the knife. Blinking the tears away, she cut the cake. Others hooted and cheered. They spent some time partying, chilling and enjoying.
"Waise naa, yeh idea Rudra ka tha," Anika said, as she did the calculations after the party ended.
"Kya?" Soumya asked in shock, shifting her attention to Anika from the Galaxy chocolate Omkara had gifted her. Anika nodded in affirmation.
"Ab disturb mat kar, nahi toh ginti mein mistake hogi," She said and continued calculating.
Soumya stood up and went to Rudra's (new) room. The door was open. She peeped in the room to see Rudra lying on the bed and listening to music. She knocked on the door. He looked up. She smiled.
"Come in re Sumo. Tujhe kitni baar bola hai, knock mat kar,"
That's what she liked about him. Though he behaved dumb, he always made her feel at home. She connected with him and Anika most in the house. Shivaye and Omkara's talks were "out-of-the-syllabus" for her, though Omkara treated her like his baby sister. Priyanka never really spoke, but was a good listener. Rudra, being his college mate, was her best friend.
After she had made him realize that Romi wasn't right for him, he had apologized to her infront of the whole college (taking care of what he spoke) and made sure no one would hurt her.
"Bak!" her reverie was broken.
"Thanks," she mumbled.
"Kya? Maine suna nahi? Kya the "great Sumo" ne mujhe thanks bola?" He said dramatically.
She sat next to him and hit him. He chuckled.
" This was my Bhaiya's best birthday ever, sirf tumhare wajah se,"
"Rudra is the best, aur jo woh karta hai, woh bhi best hota hai," He said and pulled up his collars. Soumya rolled her eyes, but she was smiling.
Rudra looked at her. He held her hand.
"You know what? I may be dumb, par main samjahta hoon. I understand, you see. Tu naa, bilkul O ki tarah hai, kuch batati nahi, sab kuch apne andar rakhti hai. You don't need to do that. Just speak it out, meri tarah. Then see what magic it does. And remember one thing, I am always there for you."
Soumya smiled. She hugged him out of reflex. He smiled and hugged her back, but only he knew how fast his heart was beating. He was in love with his "Sumo" and would never let tears gather in her eyes.
"Arrey moti, maar daalegi kya?" He said teasingly. She broke the hug and picked up a pillow. Rudra's eyes went wide with horror looking at her angry expressions. He ran out of the room. Soumya stood there, hugging the pillow.
"Why are you so sweet Rudra? You make me fall in love with you, all over again." She said and blushed.
