Hi I am Neet,
As soon as I read your introduction I had a feeling that this story was going to be something quite good. There is a trait that each of characters have, and your writing highlights it exceptionally, and it's something that I absolutely love reading. Your setting is quite brilliant because the inherent comedy that we get to witness is such a treat. But I have to say the interaction you wrote for Omkara and Ishana was really incredible. Ishana's ability to mask hurt and anger is so interesting because most of us see her as someone who wouldn't break so easily by a taunt or comment. That intensity that you bring to these characters is genuinely intriguing.
Can't wait for more.
Neet
Thanks so much 😊
I love it when readers write such detailed and in-depth comments, it really inspires me to update faster!
I really love all the characters in Ishqbaaaz, but I do understand that a lot of people on the forum either can't comprehend, or downright dislike certain characterisations (i.e Ishaana) so I hope that my writing can open their minds to the different traits that each character exhibits.
I'm not a diehard Ishkara fan, but I do relate a lot to Om. I warmed up tremendously to Ishaana during their confrontation scene, when she showed viewers that she is actually quite self-respecting and to an extent, powerful.
Ishaana is hiding a world of pain behind her childish actions and her bright smile. Omkara on the other hand, is idealistic, too idealistic even (I say this because my personality matches Om to the T!) and he genuinely does seem quite torn by Ishaana's actions. I think finding out about the con makes his already black-and-white vision of the world even more damaged.
Thus, I want to write Ishkara in a way that shows the slow burn of the relationship, and to show how these two personalities inevitably complement each other.
Thanks again 😃
