see Shivaay is the name we use for the most commonly seen version of Shivji...the householder...ANika is synonymous with Parvati ji who was the companion of Lord Shiva...

Omkara or Onkar is the primordial sound that rings through the universe giving birth to things...again Ishana is a name for goddess Durga..the primordial Shakti who enervates all things in the universe...

in Rudra's case this differs and i think maybe the cvs were foreshadowing here...

Rudra is the angry version of Lord Shiva...and Saumya means something soft and mellow...the fact that Rudra was given this name and not Omie jaan , maybe the cvs put some thought behind it...

their names are pretty well thought about in my honest opinion...

Ishana is another name for Goddess Durga...i am glad they didnt name her Durga..it would have seemed terribly anachronistic...the guys had issues with Bela...i can only imagine their reactions with Durga...😆
