That little flashback in the beginning is a nice touch. Sets up the tone for the whole story as well as establishing that Om, as calm as he is on the surface, is hiding much more beneath. He secretly feels himself a failure that he does not want to see his failings being reflected in others. Especially not on his brothers. They have to be perfect, adhering to his belief because they share a soul and if his brothers are blemished, then so is he.

You enjoy hurting Bhaiyya too huh? And no, I'm not complaining. 😉

It's not easy being Shivaay. On one hand, he's angry at Om for hurting Ru, on the other hand, he of all people knows how hurting Ru kills Om, to the very core. And so as much as he wanted to tear Om apart, the fact that it is Om and that he knows that Om has received a beating from his own conscience makes him held back. I am proud of him for making an effort to reconcile OmRu, to make Ru see that Om does love him and that he reacted out fear for Ru. Even though Ru is still closing his heart to Om, Shivaay didn't push the matter and urges Om to give Ru the space he needed.

Ru..oh baby..how you have been hurt. 😭
If Om had never hurt him before and is doing it now, the shock would've been great, true. But rooting his heartbreak in a lingering childhood trauma makes the situation even more unbearable for Rudra. As the saying goes, indifference is the opposite of love. Baby's greatest fear isn't Om being angry at him, but having Om to just not care. And he has seen that side of Om before, it's not difficult to understand why he would lose faith in his Om, even temporarily. 😭

ShivKara share a bond so deep that they instinctively know how to hurt each other. Their anger and resentment are being kept at bay by Rudra's sunshiny temperament. Yet those repressed emotions are bound to erupt sooner or later.
The one thing that could get them to be at each other's throat would be Rudra related, especially if he himself is either incapable or unwilling to soothe their anger.

You are going to make Om beg for forgiveness after this aren't you? Please say yes. Don't let baby forgive him easily, make Om earn it. Don't let Om get away with this, he's been taking baby for granted.
