Regarding Ishana.. - Page 2

I dont think anyone have problem with her being a con artist
but the way CVs are handling her character, its like they are confused regarding her character
one scene they show her guilty then in another scene they show her excitement to steal things
Many are not able to connect with her because her scenes are so random and look illogical most of the times

Writers need to work on her character and stop making her dance all the time

sometimes its good but not in every second scene

I have told it many times for now, so won't go i detail, will just make it short. The problem is not with a woman being conwoman, being grey, it's actually good in breaking stereotype of the way women are perceived. Here the problem is the way character is written with a lot of plot holes and inconsistency that's it. I have liked the conwoman earlier too, who was out and out conwoman than helpless Ishana, if execution is perfect I am one person who loves grey shaded badass women.

Ishana is grey character.why grey?she is insensitive and opportunist conwoman who want to trap a rich man knowing that how innocent and broken he is.he was the man who sympathised with her genuinely being a stranger. He is the man who is ready to help a stranger girlfor anything without having a personal intetest.seeing the purity and innocence of om she still want to con him.this make her vamp.she want him to breakup with his gf and then again she will hurt him by breaking his heart.she will be trauma of om life.

My big problem with Ishana's characterisation is its all over the place, if she was an unapologetic con-woman, I think I would have enjoyed it more. When you create a character like Ishana, why to try to white-wash her immediately? The problem is they should have established her as a bad-ass grey character & slowly revealed or unpeeled her layers , which would include goodness, instead we are spoonfed that she is good at heart because she has a horrible father. My analogy for this is like its being taken on a breathtaking holiday and taken straight to the endpoint without going through the magnificent scenic route.

Hey there, I loved your post and totally agree to it. 😃 I just need the writers to focus on the issue more and the con artist part rather than this BeMala crap or now this Hanku Patel thing. 🤣 Btw I know right, people loved Neal Caffrey and if you look at the leading ladies of GoT(Cersei, Sansa, Daenerys)..none of them are without the grey shades. 😈 So I just hope the writers get it write and stop with the overly comical angle and bring more life to Ishana's character. 😊
