Adding father's name to a woman's middle name then again adding husband's name. I always found it weird.😆. Glad she will remain just Annika. Well for me Annika is better than either khushi or zoya.

If Gul fulfills what she has said here, Anika will be my most favorite. Both Khushi Kumari Gupta and Zoya Farooqui turned Singh Raizada and Ahmed Khan later.

If Annika have a connection with Gaytari it should be that Gaytari is reasonable for the death of her parents and separating her from her sister. I do not want Annika to be related to Gaytari in anyways.

I really hope 1 day gul khan bring shaleen & sana together once again *finger cross*

You like Shaleen 😳 I too like him after watching Arjun.
Yes, all the 3 pairings are good, casting the actors for couples is something which Gul always gets right.

Anika is fresh character and strong independent lady that's what makes her interesting she is humors and kiddish at times but responsible towards sahil hope to see her always like that and shivay might change to seeing her that surname is not important.

Everybody has doubt about Gul sticking to her words 😆 Hope this time she gets it right.
I don't agree Anika is fresh character, she is the extension of her previous female leads but more stronger and independent.

Sorry crazy shivikian
It would be easy to create catch and fall scenes if they are married🤣

Moreover practically she lives there and always roam around SSO bedroom so it would be better for her to get married🤣

K i stop here. i m speaking too much

Marriage is a official green signal for intense, passionate whatever scenes, so you may get all the dreams fulfilled.

I don't think Anika will be related to Gayatri, may be the secret that Gayatri's husband knew is related to Anika's childhood and senior Oberois.

Looking forward to seeing her vision. Wow 👏
Anika is Anika. She has overcome so much and she should be proud of her accomplishments and her name not only because their her own, but also because she worked for them. I'm glad that won't change no matter who she marries.

Ishana is Ishana. No one is perfect and has a selfish side that doesn't make them a bad person or unlovable. People make mistakes, but that shouldn't mean they have to pay for them for the rest of their life.

Soumya is gorgeous just the way she is. Her weight doesn't define her as a person nor is a measure of her beauty.

I am specially happy about what she told about Anika's surname, just today morning in one post I commented about wishing to see Anika retaining her name only Anika after marrying and not adding Oberoi to it and here goes Gul fulfilling my wish.

To be called as perfect woman/adarsh bahu material we are mostly expected to look good, be honest, sincere, calm, composed etc. We are mostly bearer of surnames and not carriers, we live most of our life bearing the surname of our father, which becomes our identity, we develope an attachment to it and one fine day we leave it and embrace some other surname just like that. I don't know about other women but I can't imagine to let go of my identity with which I lived for so many years just like that, I can't let go of my father's nishani attached to me by birth go away just like that, getting a husband doesn't make me less of a daughter. To think of it, we women bear a child for 9 months in our womb but our baby doesn't get our surname.
P.S: getting a bit emotional, so just like to mention one aspect of real life, I have a strong woman as my sis-in-law who has retained her surname even after marriage and my niece has surnames of both father and mother to her, she will curse them for lengthy name once she grows up 😆

This makes it more interesting
