Personally, I think no one can bear a man in their life with such thinking but Gul's heroes have always been like that.. Amd there are people like who exist.. It's because they have not seen the real pain of poor people. Here I am so eager to see how he will get to know about Anika n her problems and will realize that she is a human just like him..

I enjoy each and everything he does whether it is his cooking, his nok jhok with his brothers and dadi or him playing evil I am always excited about his moves particularly towards anika just like in yesterday's episode he walked towards and thanked tia instead of anika😆 was pure wicked but hilarious if you see it from another angle not just anika but shivaay to love to irritate anika as much she loves to irritate him he didn't do that because of his anger but because he loves seeing anika getting irked because of him, and all this makes his character more interesting.

Totally get how Shivaay may be perceived as irritating by you. He's rich, born with a silver spoon and had it easy in life but still is so rough and tough around the edges and has a superiority complex and looks down upon those who are not from rich blood line. These things make him irritating for sure. But like Daadi said in the initial episodes, this is his biggest weakness. And I guess most of us here just love watching these kinda brooding heroes transform because of a normal, ordinary girl. It's an age old formula, but it just works. TBH, I think he needs a few monologues to build up his character a little bit, to explain why he thinks the way he does. Or give us a window to his inner self, which perhaps is not so horrible? The lack of monologues kinda makes his character a little caricature-ish TBH and there needs to be a little more emphasis on his emotional side, which I think should come out at other times than when he is with his family. Maybe show him taking over a company or business deal in his usual ruthless way and show a little bit of emotional turmoil? Like he knows he has to do it but really doesn't want to. Kinda like that rain scene with Anika where he was driving away but looking back at Anika through his side mirror.

Nice post, btw. I hope this forum can be clean from OTT fangirling and blind defense. So far after the replies on your thread, I like what I'm seeing.

i think his side of story is yet to be revealed
his side of family(parents n sister) look very picture perfect
but we still don't know why he is not so emotionally attached to his parents especially father?
yes his attitude is shown wrong towards poor people but i guess over here director wants to show public what is the current trend of angry young men in shows like dev of KRPKAB,ramann of YHM,or manik of ky2 these are all face valued bad guys(first impression) but had painful past due to which became a little weird
give the character sometime
Shivaya is a lion in terms of bravery and still a mystery
Om's pain is shown(parents relationship)
Anika and Ishana have financial crisis as their pain
Soumya's pain of being over weight(not shown yet but people judge her)
N Rudra well uska pain ab tak dikhaya nahi hai😆
so ideally ShivRu are the most mysterious characters if you analyze from different perspective.

It is nice to see a man cooking in India ...
Usually they domesticate educated females to do that work.
I like his love for his brothers.
I don't like the way he treat Anika but she is not Bechari type either
I have mixed feeling like the mix masala serial provides

I love Shivaay's character. He is both black and white to me. He has goodness and badness and that is human.
