Anika's parents must be well off. Oberoi's might have done something horrible.

And upon knowing what the elder Oberois did to their family things will get really troublesome. As both their sons will fall in love with that destroyed family's daughters.

The voice over said that her younger sister fell into the river. But chutki was shown clinging to anika's hand and not letting go off her. So there must be one more sister or that's what i think.
