Fun fact; when I was an IF fetus, and had just joined the IB forum, I think this was the very first ShivIka fic that I had read. To be honest, this has to be one of the first stories on the pairing, seeing as the name has AnShi as its title. Today I saw it back on the first page of the forum, and I had literally the biggest wave of nostalgia hit me. The original days of this show, and this forum were absolutely golden, and post-merger, things just have not been the same. There's such a shortage of ShivIka fanfiction, and practically zero good ShivIka fanfiction, so this was a literal lifesaver. Also, low-key I haven't written for ShivIka in so long, and this has inspired me to try to write again. So thank you, darling, for just stepping up and posting again - you've honestly made my day.

Coming to the newest updates, it was gold! I adored Shivaay with the gobar, and the Oberoi's being shocked by Annika's true identity, I loved that added angle with Pinky's reaction to the whole situation, and TBH, I quite like Annika not being an orphan, and actually being loved by the Kapoor family : ) More than anything, I love the concept of this story so much. Don't get me wrong, I love the actual ShivIka story as well, but the idea of a powerful Annika has a charm of its own. I love the nuances with her being compared with Tej, and Shivaay's attraction seeping into every one of their interactions.

All in all, I love this story so much and I need you to update soon, please. The writing is gorgeous, crisp and charming as usual; I've honestly missed reading your work so much! Thank you so much for updating this; sending so much love and hugs your way xx

Haha, thanks for the link! I'm going to marathon read it sometime :) I've been okay, just flooded with work and a terrible writer's block. I do occasionally scan the forum but the onslaught of stories and a pairing that I have zero interest in do put me off, which I assume is the main reason that most of the original forum members have left 😆 And I low-key still love AnShi more as a name than ShivIka, it reminds me of the original days of IB! Remember the absolute buzz and excitement, and all the analysis posts that would come out after every episode? And when all the OG forum writers would always post? God I miss seeing Ayesha, you, Twerps, Navin, fallingpieces (and tbh myself) writing for ShivIka 😭 Anyhow, loved this and I'm eagerly waiting for the next update xx
