We already have the 'opposites attract' pair - Anika and Shivaay. I don't know what to think of Vrushika. I'm too hung up on the characterisation. Though I think I should've expected it. Indian TV is all about exaggeration.
Maybe it's too soon to say but I'm not very happy with it all atm.😔
But Anika and Shivaay aren't really opposites, imo. Personality wise at least not, status wise probably. In fact, they both are a lot like each other- sometimes, it feels like Anika is a female version of Shivaay minus the being rich 😆
Though, I see where you are coming from. I'm not sure what to think about the being a con woman, either. It was expected, I guess, and we haven't seen more of her apart from the few minutes she got on screen, so there's no use of already analyzing the character. She can be a con woman but I, too, would have liked someone "sensible" (so to say) for Om, someone mature and calm. From Ishana's interaction with her father it seems she's quite chatty and bubbly (all the ladies are, apparently), as of yet, and thus really his "opposite".
As the thread title says, "Give it a try" - will have to see more of her to come to a proper conclusion. It's hard to say anything after a few minutes only; maybe she'll surprise us, who knows? 😊
